After one hour of turning pages one by one, writing all my notes in a blank book which is covered now and so are my hands with the ink (little side note don't write in a hurry or your hands are going to look like millions of ants crawling). I took a deep breath, closed my eyes for a millisecond and decided I need coffee to gain ground for my favourite chaos in my house. I placed the books in my bag and headed to Starbucks. It was a 20-minute walk from the park to Starbucks as I opened the door a wave of fresh cold breeze made me put a smile on my face. There is one person ahead of me which is nice I don't have to wait for a long time to order my coffee. The person in front of me is gorgeous with brunette hair straight as a pin. She ordered an espresso and was not able to find change for the order I offered to help and paid for her espresso, "Thank you that's so generous" she said with a smile on her face. "No problem" with a smile. She stepped aside and now it was me on the other side of the counter, the barista wasn't in a bad mood which made me have a breath of relief knowing she wouldn't mess up my or anyone's coffee order. "One ice americano please" I said with a puppy dog eye I don't know why I did that but I always say please or thank you to anyone who's working and providing their services for me. "Is that all miss?" she asked "Yes, thank you" I paid for my drink, and as I was waiting for my drink the brunette lady walked towards me.
"Hi, I'm Sally" again with a smile so sweet it could be the sugar in anyone's coffee.
"Hello I'm Daisy" I pressed my lips for a second it could've passed as a smirk.
"I appreciate you paying for my coffee, I'd like to repay it sometime. Can I have your number?" she asked with a voice so pleasant It's impossible to resist whatever demands
"Yes absolutely," I said with my eyes wide open, we exchanged our numbers and our coffees were served unfortunately she was in a hurry she went ahead, her car was parked outside she opened the door and waved goodbye before closing her door I did the same. I take a look at my coffee my name was written as Deesy typical Starbucks behaviour. I feel like they do this on purpose as a generation of electronics booming people post everything about their life so it could be a free advertisement for places like this.
I took my cup and walked in the direction of my house I don't do this normally but I was enjoying my walk I could feel the breeze, the warmth, and the birds chirping basically finding beauty in the mundane. I love it.
BAAM!!!! I don't know what happened but my clothes had something cool and pink all over them as I looked in front of me there was a girly yelling at me for bumping into her. Truth be told it was really the truth I did not see her but if she saw me she could've stepped aside. By looking at her outfit and handbag I can tell she is rich. Prada heels, a Chanel handbag, a Celine outfit and some real-looking diamonds on her body. "I'm really sorry are you okay?" with concerned wrinkles on my temple.
"How can I be okay? You little bitch just had to have my detox all over your body" in a pissed tone."I didn't see you coming. it was a genuine mistake"
"You know it cost more than anything you own and I'm saying this by judging your lame outfit" Her one eyebrow rose with a smirk on her face.
"That is a mean thing to say to anyone" My hands were showing how insulting that last comment from her was.
One of her friends interrupted "Hey Chrissie come on", they were in Gwagon with smoke coming out of their rolled-down window. She gave me one last side-judging-your beneath me- eye look which by the way is so high school or mean girls thing. I rolled my eye over and looked down at my not-so-rich-vibe outfit. A big sigh left my mouth.
I reached my place opened the door and the cruel reality came to life. THE CHAOS. Instead of tidying up the place I went in the bathroom changed and showered, popped in my headphones and slept all the till evening.
