Daisy

Doormen bowed down also opened the fantastic door in front of us, the floor was covered with red carpet from the front to the lobby which appeared after a precious painting done by a famous artist, in the lobby two females greeted us with beverages, yes I said beverages there is multiple options alcoholic, non-alcoholic, mocktails and cocktails. Sally sipped mimosa after two seconds we entered the lobby I took a glass of red wine. A huge clear crystal chandelier was hanging in the middle with multiple medium-sized crystal chandeliers with rose cortex covering the rest of the area, there is a spiral staircase the restaurant is ten stories on every floor and has a dedicated family Sally I took the elevator with a view of LA finest "This is not exactly fancy it is more Sally" my voice gets high pitched "This restaurant is owned by Mr.Rufus Gale. He has multiple business but tonight we are celebrating a new business and he is our partner" her is sparkling as she is speaking about this guy. I feel flustered this is not exactly a dinner I pictured for payback for a coffee but I perceive a well-founded vibe with Sally. 

The elevator doors open and I see nothing but antique paintings and precious statues and stone. Sally's eyes are searching for something or someone, two people in their mid-40s are approaching us, first, they glace at Sally with a smile and open arms, an adult male and female hug Sally gives kissing one cheek then the other they are congratulating Sally, Sally pulled my hand and starts to introduce me "This is Daisy, she is my friend I hope you don't mind I invited her to dinner" before anyone could say anything I opened my mouth "Hello Mr Rufus, it is a great pleasure to meet you" three of them had eyes open. Sally bursts into laughter I am confused about what is happening right now. "Oh you sweet angel they are my parents, this is my mother Anna and this man is my father Zues" Her parents are smiling too they are going for a handshake "I am so sorry I thought you were someone else, Sally told me Mr Rufus will be joining us". "Referring to him as Mr Rufus I am flattered I hope in my forties I look this muscled up and healthy" I turn around with one rose eyebrow "And you are?" a light bulb turned on in my brain "Mr Rufus.... I am deeply sorry I don't personally know, this is all new to me I hope you forgive me" what are you saying Daisy just shut up. "Don't worry ......" I opened my mouth again "Daisy" I pointed towards me. "Daisy it is a pleasure to meet you, I hope you like what I have planned for the evening". A smile left my face Mr. Rufus is an attractive man but not a man I would go for, he places his hand around my waist and proceeds to walk out on the balcony. Sally's eyes twitch I don't know why and her parent are chatting within themselves, We all reach the balcony a guy is waiting there for us he greets us and hands us a zipline safe rope fortunately it was that goes around the waist and back and not which is worn which covers my lady parts this dress would have given a lot more. The guy who helped us took us around the balcony anterior to the chair I didn't understand I didn't consider it as a dinner there was no table in front of us. The chairs are floating in the air. I am in the air. MORE HIGHER THAN TEN STORIES RESTUARANT. 

The chair gets attached to the table I left a relief breath with one hand on my chest. Mr Rufus is sitting at the head of the table, Sally is sitting beside me and her parents are sitting across us, the chef is in the middle of the table and I am the table has a hole in the middle where the chef prepares our food and one waiter which helps us with our liquor choices I need something strong so I ordered a whiskey, Sally again with champagne and her parent ordered red wine. "Daisy, where are you standing right now?" Rufus asked "Currently I am studying but in a few weeks I am taking my finals then I will search for a job" I answered "What are you majoring in Daisy" " I majoring in communication but also opted for the economic subject if I want to change my field in future" My eyes glance at Sally she is chugging down the champagne really fast I changed the subject more like changing the spotlight "I heard you are partners with Sally and operating business together" Rufus takes a sip from his champagne (if Rufus gets together with Sally they both will be great customers for their loyal champagne) "Yes it is an entertaining/journalism business I look forward working with Sally" he slightly touches Sally hand "I look forward working with you too but we still have many things to discuss regarding that" Sally's mouth finally left some words out, her cheek is turning red it is very obvious she like Rufus I do hope they get together.

The dinner is a seven-course meal, this is a piece of new information that is fed to me. First hors d'oeuvre arrives it is served in small portions the amuse is amazing it melts in my mouth it contains short rib bao-bun san Marzano jam, sofrito aioli, charred apples and manuka honey, everyone at the table knows what it is and how to eat it I just followed Sally's action (I think I can get through this dinner). Second soup in a big bowl in medium portions, rich and creamy made with crustaceans, I had many soups in my life but this hits differently I don't think I can go back to normal soups now. Third appetizer in a big plate in medium portions, The chef explained our dish, 8 hours prime rib-eye pan-fried Foi-Gras; topped with sauce Bearnaise, paired with cauliflower gnocchi with a heirloom tomato, garlic sauce and charred broccoli. Fourth chef special salad, mouth-watering baby gem caeser shaved radishes, garlic and lemon crouton. fifth the main course, the chef's crafted selection of the main course of a meal. sixth our dessert arrives, a volcano granny smith apples coconut crumble crust, strawberry and vanilla ice cream simmering in a hot pan. And finally seventh mignardise, lemon macaroons, cheesecake with berries. Rufus made a speech about their new business and also thanks to our chef Alon Ezra. We were released down on the balcony, Rufus had another meeting he needed to attend so he excused himself, we four were waiting for our car from valet. Before we got down Sally took some pictures of me at the table and I posted them instantly.

Anna and Zues went straight into their bedroom, we could not say goodnight to them as we were in different cars and they arrived early. Sally and I stepped out of the car it looked like someone was sleeping in there with a sleeping bag I asked Sally about this and she said something about her brother. I did not know Sally had a brother. Her house is magnificent unfortunately I can't get a tour of the house in the dark, she took me to the guest room but someone was already using it, she took me to another room where the blanket was crumbled she apologises for the mess (if this is a mess for her I do not know what she will think of my house) she hands me some comfort clothes and leaves.  Notifications from my social account kept on buzzing I checked my phone, my account was public so there were strangers who liked and commented on my photos a smile appeared on my face I hoping notification from certain someone but that was turning my smile upside down. The entire night I had no time to sulk about him but I wished the night I had I wish to experience with him it would have made it more special. A night to remember as we hopeless romantics say. The room Sally told me to spend the night in has a comforting aura as well as a similar scent I tried to stop my instinct but I couldn't stop thinking about Paul at this very given moment. I gazed at the stars for a few minutes a yawn left my mouth.

 As there is no one in the room I change there instead of the closet place the outfit on the table and get comfortable in bed with the light out It is late and my eyes are heavy in no time I will be asleep I was passing out but I felt the bed is moving by itself I was intoxicated I guess I am hallucinating, I drifted off without any concern like a baby.
