❝YOU LOOK LIKE SHIT.❞
Bel groaned from her spot on the couch, her head feeling fuzzy and her body aching. She raised her head up, eyes barely open as she took in her surroundings.
Caroline raised an amused eyebrow, her hands resting on her hips, "I know you're an adult and all now but I didn't think you'd get hammered in our first week here."
Annabel threw her head back on the couch, scoffing, "I'm not hammered. I drank a little bit last night but I'm mostly sore from all the freaking dancing Kim coerced me into."
"Need some Tylenol?" Asked Caroline.
"No, I need thirty years of sleep."
Caroline laughed, walking over to the counter to collect her things for the day, "Well, may not be getting that right now. Some Bella is here for you," she walked over to the foyer to slip on her shoes and put her hair in a bun, "you've gotten popular."
As her older sister left the house to go to work, Annabel sighed. Not that she minded the attention from the kind people, she just wasn't used to it all.
Mustering up all the strength she had, the teenager pushed herself off the couch and over to the door.
"Hi," Bella said as soon as the door opened up.
Bel smiled, "Hi, Bella,"
"Mind if I come in?" She asked.
Annabel shrugged, pushing the door open enough for the girl to come in. Bella followed Annabel to her bedroom, finding herself sitting on the girls bed.
"What brought you here?" Bel asked, walking into her bathroom — making sure the door was open so she could still hear the other girl.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to La Push with me," Bella fiddled with her fingers, a ghost of a smile on her lips.
Yeah, Jacob Black spilled the beans to the Swan girl the second they left from the meeting. Now, here she was using her recent grocery store meet to bring Annabel to the Reservation under the plan the two concocted.
Bel beamed, "Oh, I was just there last night!"
Bella smiled, "Really? I didn't know that."
"Yeah, there was some bonfire thing going on and Jared was kind enough to invite me. I had so much fun," she washed her toothbrush off and set it to the side, "I'd love to go as long as you're okay waiting on me. I have got to rinse this damn sand out of my hair."
"Yeah," Bella said, relaxing herself on the blondes bed, "sounds good to me."

Now fully clean and dressed for the day, Annabel and Isabella were shutting their respective doors to Bella's run-down truck and making their way into Sam Uley's house.
The Summers girl felt a little off walking into the older boys house; she had only encountered him two or three times. Luckily, he seemed nice.
"You look nervous," Bella noted.
Bel laughed, "I am, a little. I mean, I might have met them but I don't really know them. Hell, I don't really even know you."
Bella gave her friend a small smile. She, too, had been the new girl before, "Trust me, you made an impression. And a good one at that."
That gave Bel the reassure she needed as the two found their way into the Uley house. She was pleasantly surprised by how many people seemed to be inside it.
"Annabel," Kim beamed the second the blonde walked through the door, running over and giving her a large hug.
"Hi, Kimmy!" Annabel beamed equally as bright.
"Kimmy?" Jared grimaced.
Said girl rolled her eyes, throwing her arm around Bel, "Kimmy is something only Annabel can call me."
"It's lovely to see you again, Bel," Emily Young said as she worked through the batter.
Bella was a slight bit shocked by how quickly the pack had seemed to adjust to the girl but she wasn't surprised — Annabel Summers had a light that shined bright to everyone around her; she had a way of making sure everyone was comfortable around her.
A loud boom outside of the small bungalow brought all the people insides attention to the door as both Paul Lahote and Embry Call walked through the door.
Annabel walked a little closer to Bella to allow the two into the house with her mouth slightly agape, "Is that...Paul Lahote? Holy shit."
Bella stifled a laugh at the teenagers whisper-tone knowing quite well that almost everyone in the room had just heard her words.
As soon as Paul registered Annabel's presence his whole demeanor seemed to stiff. He hadn't been expecting her to be there.
Jacob and Bella's plan didn't make it past anyone but the two, unfortunately for him.
He wanted to kill whoever invited the girls over as he remembered the girls' advice to have a little more clothing on when the blonde was around.
Annabel cleared her throat rather loudly as an awkward feeling began to bubble in her. Paul had been staring at her since he noticed her and it was starting to worry her.
"Uh, sorry," he said, finally snapping out of his apparent trance, "I just wasn't expecting you."
Relief settle in her as a smile graced her lips once again, "Oh, I wasn't expecting to be here again," she laughed, "Bella asked me if I wanted to come over with her."
Jacob then walked through the door, a weary expression on his face until it landed on Bella then Annabel then lastly, Paul. Bella met his eyes with a smirk on her face, one gracing Jacob's shortly after.
Both eyes tracked back to Paul who was practically seething as he realized why his imprint had just so happened to be at the house right as his shift had ended.
Yeah, Paul was going to kill Jacob.
