PAUL WAS SAT ON ANNABEL'S BED AS HE OVERLOOKED THE PHOTOS SHE HAD JUST FINISHED EDITING.

"Annie, these are professional level editing," he praised, his eyes wide with adoration, "you should, like, submit these or something."

Annabel smiled at him, her heart fluttering at his compliments, "Thank you,"

But Paul wasn't dumb. He knew Bel like the back of his hand so when he saw her smile fade in a flash, he was setting down her laptop and bringing all his attention to her, "What's wrong?"

The blonde sighed. She knew she wouldn't be able to keep up the façade long with him specifically — he had a knack for figuring her out. "Bella hasn't messaged me back in a week."

With furrowed brows, Paul took her hands in his when he noticed her picking at them, "What's that mean? I don't know girl things."

"It means she's either ignoring me or she's not doing okay. Either are horrible options that are worrying me like no other."

"Jacob's been getting the same treatment," he informed her, only making her worry increase, "but I'm sure she's alright. She's on her honeymoon, after all. That's what Sam told Jake."

"She's not there anymore."

"She's not where anymore?"

"Her honeymoon," Annabel said, "the destination, I mean."

Paul looked at the girl with complete confusion, "And, pray tell, how you know that?"

An almost sheepish look crossed Bel's face as she held her phone out to explain, "I have her location."

"Annabel, how do you have her location?"

"I'm a worrier, okay! I stole it from her during one of our shopping trips and put it in. I might have also done that with just about everyone in my contacts..." at Paul's surprised but almost concerned look, she was quick to point out her motives, "I don't use it often, though! Only when I'm worried about that person or they aren't responding. It's a safety thing, really."

In truth, Annabel was a worrier. Every since the day her parents hadn't gotten back to either girl the night of the crash and they hadn't a clue where their parents were, she made extra cautious sure to know where everyone she cared about was. Even if it was unconventional.

"You're a weirdo but I find you all the more interesting for it." Paul told her with a smile on his face before he remembered something Jacob had said, "Oh, Jake said he was going over to the Cullen's today — to get some answers or whatever. You could message him and see if he went already. Or I guess you could stalk him to see."
