10:21 AM. NEW NINJAGO CITY
y/n sits in the boba store, slurping on her favourite flavour. her, nya and elena are going to hang out today. and she's slightly excited. not excited to talk about her and lloyd, but excited to know about how her friends spent the holidays and how their new years went.
cut to the feeling plays into her ears, making her move slightly to the beat. she loved the movie ballerina when it came out. it made her want to be a ballerina but she chose cheer. obviously.
some younger kids wave at her, making her smile and wave back. she feels a bit better as she's dressed up in a pink jumper with a black skirt and black boots. she didn't hang put with her dad yet. but she might. maybe.
"you're here early," nya says, sitting down next to y/n. y/n lowers her music, taking [out/off] her [headphones/earphones/ear buds].
"nya!" y/n smiles, hugging the girl. "oh my gosh! you cut your hair!" y/n says, motioning to it.
"i did!" nya giggles, touching her straight black hair which has been cut short. it's a cute bob. she smiles, her beauty mark moving up. "do you like it?"
"i love it! has jay seen it?" y/n teases, marking nya shove the girl softly.
"yeah, he couldn't stop telling me he loved it," nya smiles with a laugh. "i feel like it was a good idea. my hair was getting harder for me to manage anyway,"
"well, you are even more beautiful than before," y/n says.
"oh, i have something for you," nya says, shuffling through her bag. she brings out a book, passing it to y/n.
"what's this?" y/n laughs, holding it. she reads the title, her jaw dropping. "my favourite book series! how did you know? where did you get this? i've been looking for this!"
"i remember you reading it once in the library when i was getting some books for engineering," nya says.
"jay better watch out, nya. i might steal you away from him," y/n says, looking at the book cover in awe. it's even pink! she opens the first page, seeing that the author has signed it too.
