𝙾𝚖𝚗𝚒𝚜𝚌𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝙿𝙾𝚅"Hello?" Kay cleared his throat, speaking into the phone as he drove. It was about to be noon and Kay was in a good mood. Today was her three month check up and he was happy to be included in things like this considering he missed it all for Kimora.
"Yeah?" Ariana responded.
"Yo ma? I'm about to be there. You better be dressed and shit. We going to be late."
"I'm doing my hair right now." She said, hating how he would rush her.
"Bro we going to the hospital. Why you doing your hair?"
"Because I want to." She sucked her teeth and the sounds of the phone falling to the floor was heard. "Kay text me when you get here. I almost burned myself just now. Bye." She said hanging up the phone.
"Be dragging shit." He mumbled as he turned the corner, leaving him a few minutes away from her building. About ten minutes later he found himself in front of her building, redialing her number and informing her to come downstairs.
Kay sucked his teeth as five minutes went by and Ariana wasn't coming downstairs. As he was about to call her again, her 5'5 frame popped up, walking over to his car, eventually getting inside.
Ari leaned over, the two sharing a peck and she pulled away with her cheeks warm. Ever since they resolved their situations, they haven't been with each other everyday like they used to. The bond was still there and so was the love, but they were both just busy.
"Wassup. No Hi?" Kay's deep voice said, his eyes fixated on her.
"Hi." She responded shyly. She didn't know why she was still shy around this man, but she just was.
"You look good." He complimented her. Her skin glowed and it was obvious it was due to her being pregnant and he loved it.
"Thank you." She said eyeing him up and down. She bit on her lip slightly, loving how he cleaned himself up today. "Mhm. You look nice baby. Where you coming from?" She asked looking at him in the eye, as she slowly applied lipgloss around her lips.
"No where. I woke up like a hour ago. Where you going after this? A nigga must be taking you on a date or something." He smacked his lip, pulling off onto the street. For her to be almost four months pregnant, she was dressed well and her dresses still fit.
"Bye. I'm going to this brunch with a few friends."
"I hate your friends. Every single one of them. They nothing but bird ass bitches." He said shaking his head.
"Kay what are you? What are your friends?"
"Speaking of me." He said as he stopped at a red light. Turning his body to the back of the car, he pulled out a bouquet of flowers, that's ironically matched her dress, red.
"These for you." He said. Her lips curled into a smile, letting the flowers rest in her lap. She loved how he always made her feel like he was the only girl in his world.
"You could be so sweet when you not yelling at me." She teased him, laughing as he sucked his teeth. "Thank you honey. You're so sweet. What's the occasion?"
"Nigga I just wanted to do something nice."
She rolled her eyes at his comment and placed her hand over his bicep. "Well Thank you baby. I appreciate it."
"Nah I appreciate you." He said, making eye contact with her briefly. They both had butterflies in their stomachs at the moment, Kay's rosey cheeks was visible which made him keep his eyes back on the road. "What you think we having?"
