"Hey Baby Ken." Ariana cooed at the newborn who smiled up at her. "My chunky princess."

Kay sat next to them, snapping photos of the new addition to the family, spamming his family group-chat with photos of her.

The beautiful baby girl spent her first theee days in the hospital due to awaiting test results. Turns out the baby ended up being perfectly fine, still leaving no explanation for why Ari passed out so many times in labor. She was put on strict bed rest, however she refused to be locked up in her bedroom, so Kay set up the living room nicely so she could be comfortable and relax, all while attending to Kennedy.

"How you feeling?" He asked his fiancé.

"I'm doing better. Just remind me to take my meds later." She said. He nodded, making a mental note.

"She not hungry right?" Kay asked, watching as Kennedy stared at him. For someone who wanted a boy, Kay was sure super fascinated with Kennedy.

"She shouldn't be, I breastfed her a minute ago." She said, playing in her curls. "I deadass made this baby all by myself."

"Alright relax." Kay sucked his teeth. The resemblance was almost undeniable. Kennedy had her mother's dark smooth skin, along with her perfectly shaped lips, and unique eye shape. The only thing Kay could claim from her was her ears. "Just happy she here. I really got two daughters. That's not crazy?"

"That's crazy as hell baby." Ari smiled, seeing Kennedy lips curl into a smile as she stared at Kevin.

He began making baby sounds at her, keeping her engaged as she gripped on his finger. Kay was so in love. Not only with Kennedy, but with his family. In his head he was already plotting when to have his next child. The bonding time between the two was slowly interrupted when the door bell went off.

"That must be Jo." Ari said, fixing the way she was holding the baby. Kay pressed his lips on her cheek for what felt like the tenth time just this afternoon on, before he jogged over to the door revealing Kimora and his older brother. The two greeted each other, walking in.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" Kimora ran over to her mom, seeing the baby wrapped up in a pink blanket. She gasped, looked up at her mom and sat next to her.

"A girl?" She said making a questionable look at her parents.

"Yeah. You a big sister now my heart." Jo said as he sat on the other end of the couch, watching the interaction.

"What's her name?" She said dryly, looking up at her mom.

"Kennedy." Kay answered. "You like it?"

Kimora shrugged. "I guess. I think Kimora is better." She said making the two brothers laugh. "I'm going to my room." She said slowly getting up off the couch and walking away.

"How long you think she going to be like that?" Jo wondered.

"Probably for a minute. It'll take some time to get used to it." Ariana stated with a sad look on her face.

"I'll go check on her." Kay said standing up. He knew it would've took time for her to adjust to another kid in the house, but everyone thought it would've been a boy. As soon as he laid eyes on Kennedy he knew Kimora was going to have a fit.

"Yo princess?" He said knocking on her door, he heard her sniffling on the other end. He pushed the door open to see her sitting in the middle of her bed with head in her hands, crying. Like every other time he saw her crying, he rushed to her side, placing her on his lap.

"Kimora you supposed to be happy right now. You got a sister. Why you crying?"

"Because I know you and Mommy are going to forget about me." She sniffled as he wiped her face.

"Calm down first mama. Then we can talk." He said hating seeing how red her face got when she cried. He pat her back softly as she coughed and laid her head on his chest, signaling she was calmer. Kimora was good with expressing her feelings although sometimes it would take a minute to get it out of her, she was very well spoken which Kay liked about her.

"I know her and Mommy are going to be close. They even look alike."

"Nothing wrong with that. You and Mommy close too. You just have to learn how to share her. Whatever happens it doesn't change the fact you were here first. Your mom will love you forever even if she had ten more babies." He said kissing her forehead as she looked down. "You our first baby. Don't forget that. Nobody can replace you. You hear me?" He says.

She nodded slowly, keeping her head low. "Just promise you won't forget about me." She said sticking her pink out, finally looking up at her father.

Kay smacked his lips and locked pinkies with her. "You my baby girl. I love you more than anyone else on this earth. How could I forget you?"

"So you love me more than Kennedy?"

"You ask a lot of questions. Cmon, let's go see your sister." He attacked her with kisses as he tickled her, making her go into a fit of laughter and kicking her feet around.

"Daddy stop!" She yelled out in laugher. After a few more seconds, he picked her back up and walked out the room. Coming back out seeing Jo now had Kennedy in his arms. Kay put her down, allowing her to walk at her own pace.

"Kimora baby you okay?" Ari asked, patting the spot next to her so she could sit. Kimora nodded and looked over at Jo, giving Kennedy a small smile.

"She's pretty. She looks like you. I wish I looked like you more ma." Kimora says, holding onto her mom's arm as she sat.

Kay laughed and got up, picking Kimora up. "You be on your mom bad. I love it. You look like me, that's a blessing. Not everybody can look like us my heart." Kay said making her smile.

"You wanna hold her?" Jo offered. Kimora nodded slowly, allowing her uncle to place the small baby into her rather small arms.

A small smile appeared on Kimora's face making her parents both look at each other, relieved. Ari gave him a look, Kevin nodded. He tapped his brother and headed over to the kitchen giving both the mother and daughter a moment alone.

He headed to the kitchen, pulling out a cold sprite from the fridge, sliding it down to his brother as they both sat down.

"How you been? Feel like we haven't sat down and spoke in a minute." Kay said looking at his brother.

Although Kay and Jo didn't see each other everyday, their bond was very much tight. Not knowing each other til Kay was 11 was something most didn't know considering how tight they were. They also only shared the same dad, so they didn't spend more time in the house together. Kay looked up to his brother, although that was something he would never say out loud.

"Chilling. I got back together with my girl a minute ago. She moving in new month." Jo expressed.

"That's amazing bro. I'm happy for you."

"I appreciate you. How's you and Ari?"

"I'm not even gon lie before the baby, I was fake putting her through it."

"Don't tell me you fucked up?"

"Nah nothing like that. I just wasn't around the way I should have been. I don't know though. Having Kennedy making me just wanna marry this girl tonight." He said laughing to himself.

Kevin looked over at Ariana who was speaking to Kimora. He know he picked the right girl to marry. As beautiful as she was on the outside, he could never get over how lucky he got with her personality.

"You know the wedding coming up soon. Everything slowly coming together and shit. I need a best man. First person I thought of was you."

"You know I'm down. Love you bro." He said dapping him up.
