"Mommy it's kinda tight." He said whimpering.
"I know, it'll be fine in a few days. We can put a hot rag on it to loosen them up." She offered, picking up the loose hairs on the floor. As she was about to get started with cleaning up the house, she heard loud footsteps. Before she knew it her youngest daughter went running to the door.
"Daddy!" Kennedy screamed, being the ultimate daddy's girl.
"Wassup Ken." He smiled, picking her up as her legs dangled. "You missed me baby?"
"Yes! Did you bring me anything from work?" She asked, wrapping her arms around his neck, noticing the bag he was once holding, that was now on the floor.
"I got all y'all a little something. Call your sister." He said setting Kennedy down. Watching her run away, Kay's eyes darted over to his wife and his runny nose son that was sitting in her lap.
"Why you got my son crying?" He said walking up to them, pressing his lips to his cheek. "Wassup my heart."
"Hey dad. How was work?" A teary eyed Kairo said.
"Sturdy. Why you crying?"
"You know how he is when he gets his hair done. Baby, you look sleepy." Ari noticed the bags forming under her husband's eyes.
"Who? Me?" Kairo asked batting his healthy long lashes.
"The both of y'all actually." Ari said wiping off his tears. "Cmon papa let's go to sleep." She said putting he her arm out so she can carry him.
"Wait no I wanna see what daddy got me!" He said as his two sisters came into the living room. Kay swung around the big bag he walked in with, as his wife and kids looked at him, impatiently.
"Kimora you first baby girl." He said, making her smile as she gasped seeing what he took out the bag.
"Thank you daddy! I didn't think you were going to buy it for me." She said cheesing as she grabbed the polaroid camera she's been begging her parents for, for the past month. Ari was against it simply because she knew she was going to break it within weeks but Kay was willing to get her whatever she wanted, and replace it even if broken.
Ari shook her head, keeping her silent laughs to herself as the two interacted.
"My turn!" Kennedy said holding her father's hand. Ariana couldn't help but smile at the height difference between her and him. Kennedy was an exact carbon copy of her which she loved considering Kimora was all Kevin and Kairo was a cute 50/50 of them. Ariana was knocked out of her thoughts when she heard a high pitched squealing. Kennedy was jumping up and down with a doll in her hand.
