Chapter 12

( Evelyn Pov )

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. It was 7 AM.

"Turn that goddamn alarm off!" James shouted.

I turned it off and couldn't help myself but laugh when I saw James sleeping on the floor while Kaya lay on James' mattress. After brushing my hair and teeth, I stepped out of the bathroom and found Kaya and James tidying up.

"Good morning!" I said with enthusiasm.

"Morning," James replied, rubbing his eyes.

"Why are you so happy today?" Kaya asked.

"Why, can't I be happy?" I said sarcastically.

"No reasons" Kaya said, heading to the bathroom.

"No!" James suddenly exclaimed.

"Why?" I asked.

"We have school tomorrow," James shrugged.

"What!?" I exclaimed.

"I completely forgot about school, not gonna lie," James replied. When Kaya came out of the bathroom, she said, "We should start cleaning up James".

"Yeah, okay" James agreed. As they packed they pack their stuff, I remember yesterday when Thomas and I wore matching clothes.

"Evelyn, your phone is literally blowing up" James said, pointing at my phone. I grabbed it and checked. It was all about me and Thomas from yesterday, and I was tagged all over TikTok.

"Why is it blowing up?" Kaya asked, checking my phone too.

"Ohh, it's about you and Thomas, huh" Kaya said, laughing. James was also laughing. We went downstairs for breakfast. Kaya and Dylan were cuddling on the couch while James is watching Tv. Ki hong and Will were in the kitchen making coffee. I found myself looking for Thomas. Why would I care? I thought to myself.

"Hey, Evelyn, can you make us coffee?" Will asked.

"Yeah, sure. Iced coffee?" I said.

"Yeah, sure, thanks" Ki hong said. As I made our coffee, and Ki hong was cooking buldak noodles for breakfast. Once I finished making our coffee, we all sat at the dinner table. Dylan, Kaya and James sat beside each other. Ki hong and Will sat beside each other, facing them, and I sat at the end of the table.

"Where's Thomas?" I asked.

"Oh, he went home" Will replied. Oh. After breakfast, we put our dishes in the dishwasher. Kaya, James, and I decided to wash up, while Will and Ki hong went home. One we finished, Kaya and James left us well.

"What do you want to do?" I asked Dylan.

"Well, Thomas invited me to his sister's  15th birthday. Will and Ki hong will be there" Dylan said.

"Okay!" I said and went upstairs to change my clothes.

"Come on Evelyn, we have to get her a present!" Dylan shouted

"Okay!" I said, rolling my eyes as I got in the car.

"What does Ava wants?" I asked.

"Thomas texted me. She likes Taylor Swift too" Dylan replied. At the mall, I headed to a store that sells album and stuff. I bought Ava the new Taylor Swift album 'The Tortured Poets Department' and got two for myself as well. Dylan bought her a Taylor Swift Funko Pop. When we got to Thomas' house, Dylan pressed the doorbell.

( Thomas Pov )

I heard the doorbell. It was probably Dylan. I opened the door and greeted him, and then I saw Evelyn behind him.

"Hi Evelyn," I said. She looked great in her outfit today, well i mean she looks great everyday- What am I even saying? Also, I wasn't expecting her to come.

"Hi Thomas," she said, smiling, making me melt. They entered the house. Dylan went to Ki hong and Will while Evelyn stood there shyly.

"Do you know where Ava is?" she asked.

"Oh, she's in her room. My mum is dressing her up" I replied, she nodded.

"Do you want to sit?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure," she said and went to Dylan. When Ava came downstairs and everyone was singing happy birthday, she blew out her candles.

"Okay, time for presents!" Mum said

"Hi, Ava!" Evelyn said, waving at Ava

"Evelyn!" Ava exclaimed, hugging her.

"Here, this is my gift for you" Evelyn said, handing her the gift. Ava opened it, her eyes widen.

"Omg, Thank you Evelyn! How did you know I like Taylor Swift?" Ava said, hugging Evelyn tightly.

"Here's my present for you" Dylan said, handing her his gift.

"Omg, a Taylor Swift Funko Pop!?" Ava said, hugging Dylan tightly too. After Ava finished opening her gifts and thanked everyone, we went to the backyard to eat.. I decided to join my friends.

"Hey guys" I said.

"Hi" they replied.

"So, do you want to have a drink?" Will asked.

"Sure!" Ki hong and Dylan said.

"Bye guys, I'll just grab a drinks" Evelyn said, rushing to the mini bar.

"Evelyn, stop! You can't drink. Remember what happened last time!" Dylan shouted at her.

"You can't stop me!" Evelyn shouted back. We chuckled as we drink at our table

~time skip~

"Guys, I think you should check up on Evelyn. She's really drunk" Ava said as she approached us.

"Thomas can you help her? I'm too lazy to get off my chair" Dylan asked

"Yeah, sure," I said. AS I walk towards the mini bar, I saw someone clinging to her, taking advantage of her drunken state. The guy suddenly grabbed her by the wrist.

( Evelyn Pov )

My head was dizzy. I couldn't see properly. Maybe Dylan was right; I should've listened to him. Then the guy I was talking to suddenly grabbed me by the wrist.

"What the hell are you doing? and where are you taking me?" I asked.

"You'll see" the boy replied. I pushed him because he was hurting me

"Stop, you're hurting me!" I said

"Why did you push me?" the guy shouted and was about to punch me. I shielded myself with my arms, but someone already stopped him. I looked at the boy who helped me, but I couldn't see clearly. My vision was starting to blur, it was blurry as heck, and I suddenly passed out.

A/n sorry guys, this chapter is short. I couldn't think of anything. But I'll make long ones again :)
