Chapter 17

( Evelyn Pov )

"Alright students! Make sure to grab all your stuff because the bus will not be returning until the last day," our teacher yelled. I was about to grab my luggage when Thomas helped.

"Oh, thank you," I said, tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"What's in your luggage, why is it so heavy?" Thomas asked sarcastically.

"Rocks," I laughed.

"Alright then, I'm going to find Will and Ki Hong. Bye, Evelyn, see you later!" Thomas said, handing me my luggage. I went to find Kaya and James.

"James!" I said, waving at him.

"Hey, Evelyn," he replied.

"Where did you sit? I didn't see you," I said.

"Oh, I was at the back with my boyfriend," James replied.

"Who is your boyfriend, by the way?" I asked.

"I'll tell you later."

"Hey guys!" Kaya greeted.

"Hi," James replied.

"So, Evelyn, how are things with Thomas?" Kaya asked.

I raised my eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

"You slept on his shoulder."

"WHAT?" James exclaimed. "Wait—are you guys together?"

"WHAT? NO!" I yelled.

"Okay, if you say so," Kaya chuckled.

"Okay guys, settle down. I'm now going to tell you who's your roommate," our teacher said, as she announced every single student.

"Cabin 8: Kaya Scodelario and Dylan O'Brien."
"Cabin 9: Will Poulter and Ki Hong Lee."
"Cabin 10: Evelyn O'Brien and Thomas Brodie-Sangster." Great, now I'm with Thomas again.
"Cabin 11: James Brown and Jonathan Clark."

"Wow, Evelyn, isn't that great? You're with Thomas," James said.

"It's not. It's going to be awkward," I sighed.

"Anyways, I'm happy that I'm with Dylan," Kaya said.

"Same, I'm with my boyfriend!" James exclaimed.

"Okay now, students, go to your cabins!" our teacher yelled. Kaya went to Dylan, and James went to his boyfriend. I decided to go to my room. I opened the door to see Thomas.

"Hey," I said.

"Hi," he replied. "So, uhm, I can sleep on the floor since there's only one bed." What? One freaking bed with him?

"Uhhh," I said calmly, "this must be a mistake, right? We should tell them." I went to the office.

"Uhm, hi, I'm Evelyn, Evelyn O'Brien. Uhh, there's a problem with the room, there's only one bed," I said.

"All of the cabins have one bed, so that shouldn't be a problem," they said. Are you kidding me? I headed back to my room.

"So are they going to fix it?" Thomas asked.

"No, all of the cabin rooms have only one bed," I said, rubbing my arm.

"Well, at least the bed is big, right?"

"Yeah..." Thomas replied. As we unpacked our stuff, Dylan texted me.

Dil Dough😪:

Dylan: Evelyn, you and Thomas should come to our room, everyone's here.
Me:Kay.

"Dylan texted me and told me we should go to their room."

"Alright," he replied. Thomas and I went inside Dylan and Kaya's room to see Will and Ki Hong preparing drinks and foods while Kaya was cleaning up the room.

"Hey guys," Dylan said.

"Hey," Thomas and I said in unison.

"Okay guys, gather around, they're here," Dylan said, and we sat in a circle.

"The game we're playing is truth or dare, and if you don't answer or do one of the dares, you will take a shot," Will said.

"Okay, it seems fun," I replied.

"Okay, I'll start. Kaya, truth or dare?" Will asked Kaya.

"Dare seems fun," Kaya said.

"Kiss Dylan."

"Easy," Kaya said, pulling Dylan into a quick kiss.

"James, truth or dare?" Kaya asked James.

"Truth."

"Would you make out with your boyfriend or make out with your celebrity crush?"

"Celebrity crush," James replied.

"Ki Hong, truth or dare?" James asked Ki Hong.

"Dare," Ki Hong replied.

"I dare you to yell something."

"KI HONG LEE IS SO HANDSOME!" Ki Hong yelled, and everyone laughed.

"Thomas, truth or dare?" Ki Hong asked Thomas.

"Truth," he replied.

"Do you like someone? If you do, tell us who she is," Ki Hong smirked, and Thomas took a shot, and everyone said, "Oooo."

"Will, truth or dare?" Thomas asked Will.

"Dare."

"I dare you to kiss Ki Hong on the cheek," Thomas laughed, and Will took a shot.

"Evelyn, truth or dare?" Will asked me.

"Dare," I said.

"I dare you to go on a date with Thomas after our field trip."

"Okay, what time?" I asked.

"How about 5 p.m.?" Will said.

"Alright," Thomas replied. As we played and played, Will and Ki Hong fell asleep on the floor while Kaya and Dylan were sleeping on their bed. Thomas and I decided to go back to our room. I was so tired because it was late, and I fell asleep on the bed.
