It was 6 in the morning when I woke up. Kaya and I shared the bed, while James slept on the mattress. After cleaning my room, brushing my hair and teeth, and changing my clothes, I stepped out of the bathroom. Kaya was watching something on her phone, James was tidying his bed.

"Morning" I greeted.

"Morning" James and Kaya echoed.

"Do you guys want to eat?" I asked.

"Do you have an iced coffee?" Kaya inquired

"Yeah, I have some" As we head downstairs, we saw Dylan, Will, Ki Hong, and Thomas.

"Morning, Kaya" Dylan greeted.

"No good morning to me?" I asked sarcastically

"Morning, James and Evelyn" he replied.

"Morning, guys" I said to everyone

"Morning love" Thomas said, making me blush early in the morning. 

"Oh, morning, Thomas" I replied, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. Kaya was making our iced coffee while James and I prepared our toast.

As we finished, Dylan asked, "How about ours?"

"Your friend, your problem" I teased. Kaya sat beside Dylan, James on the other couch. I looked for another spot but the only available one was next to Thomas. I didn't want to sit beside him because he makes me nervous in a good way.

"Can you scoot over?" I asked James.

"No, you sit beside pretty boy" James smirked. Left with no choice, I sat on the floor, but it was too cold, so I ended up next to Thomas. Our shoulders touched, and I felt butterflies in my stomach. Will and Ki hong were on another couch, with Will lying on Ki hong's lap, leaving no space. Kaya lay down with her head on Dylan's lap, also leaving no space. I got up, put my cup in the dishwasher, and sat on the floor beside James.

"Why the hell are you here? Go sit beside Thomas" James whispered. We played rock-paper-scissors, and I won the first round. I dared James to post a weird photo on Instagram. Kaya joined us for for the second round, and she lost, and we dared her to tell Dylan "I love you" since they were already a couple. On the third round, James lost, but I had to do a dare to make it fair.

"So, what dare are you giving me?" I asked.

"Give me your phone," James said. I handed it to him.

And a couple of minutes "Here" he returned it.

It was lunch, and after we ate, we headed back to my room. Kaya was taking a shower, James was watching TikTok, and my phone was ringing like crazy. I checked my notifications. Did I posted something on insta, I couldn't remember? I thought to myself. I opened the app, It was a post on instagram with the caption, "I don't know why, but I like you <3 #Tbs"

"What the hell is this James!" I shouted

"Took you long enough to notice" he smirked.

"Now he's gonna think I like him"

"Don't you?"

"Well, I don't know," I admitted, sitting beside him

"Why the hell were you screaming?" Kaya asked, coming out of the bathroom.

I looked at James, and she realized. They were laughing, I immediately deleted the post, but I was sure many people had seen it since it was posted this morning. I hadn't used my phone because it was charging.
