The ceiling started to fall, and the civilians screamed in terror. Reacting fast, you raised your hands, using your Quirk to blow a strong gust of wind to keep the ceiling from collapsing on them. You strained against the weight of the falling rubble, pushing your Quirk to its limits. The force of the debris was immense, and your Wind Quirk, while powerful, wasn't best equipped for this kind of sustained pressure. Your arms shook with the effort, and you could feel the strain in every muscle of your body as you fought to keep the ceiling from giving way.
Struggling to keep your composure, you heard one of the civilians yell out in panic, "We're going to die! She's going to let us die!"
Their words cut through you, fueling your determination. "No! I won't let that happen!" you shouted back, your voice steady despite the fear gnawing at you. You pushed harder, your Quirk roaring with renewed strength as you desperately tried to hold the ceiling in place.
As you fought to maintain the barrier, another civilian cried out, "We're doomed! She can't handle this!"
Their fear and doubt only added to the weight you were already bearing. You could feel your energy waning, your Quirk straining against the unrelenting pressure. Sweat trickled down your forehead as you struggled to keep the debris from collapsing.
More debris tumbled from above, crashing onto the already unstable structure. The added weight made your task even more daunting. The civilians screamed in fear, their panic rising with every second. Your body strained under the immense pressure, muscles burning and lungs aching as you fought to keep the wind barrier intact.
Summoning every last ounce of strength, you directed your Wind Quirk to create a clear path through the rubble. The wind howled around you, forming a powerful barrier that held the debris at bay.
"Follow the path!" you shouted, your voice rising above the din. "It's safe now, go!"
The civilians hesitated, eyes wide with fear and uncertainty, but they moved as one when you gestured urgently towards the exit. With a clear route now visible, they began to file out, moving as quickly as they could manage. The wind continued to swirl, keeping the passage open and free from falling debris.
Feeling the weight of the ceiling pressing down, your body began to give in. You could almost feel yourself choking, every breath a struggle. Your vision blurred with the effort, and a sense of helplessness threatened to overwhelm you.
In a moment of desperation and pain, you let out a scream, the sound echoing through the chaos as you pushed yourself to your absolute limits.
Suddenly, through your blurred vision, you saw a figure running into action. The weight of the debris lessened, and you watched in amazement as objects around you began to float.
It was Uravity. With a determined look on her face, she used her Quirk to make the rubble weightless, lifting the debris off your shoulders and allowing you to catch a breath.
"Hang in there!" Uravity shouted, her voice a beacon of hope in the chaos. "I've got this!"
Another figure appeared beside Uravity, his presence commanding attention. With engines for legs and a determined expression, he wasted no time in springing into action.
"Leave this to us," he said, his voice firm and reassuring. "Focus on keeping yourself safe. We'll handle the evacuation."
As you struggled to regain your composure, you managed to utter a breathless "Ingenium?" realizing it was Iida, the hero known for his mechanical prowess and unwavering dedication to duty.
You collapsed to your knees, your body trembling from the exertion. You struggled to catch your breath, feeling every muscle ache with fatigue.
You glanced up, watching as Uravity and Ingenium sprang into action, their movements swift and precise as they guided the civilians to safety. Relief flooded through you as you realized they had everything under control.
