Chapter 9

SANA'S POV

"Sana! Are you coming or what?"

"Yeah, yeah, just a sec!" I put on my jean shorts and my white crop top, grabbed my phone, keys and went outside to Momo and Nayeon. I entered Momo's car and sat at the back while Nayeon was sitting at the passenger's seat.

"So, where the hell are we going again at six o'clock on a Saturday evening?" Nayeon asked, sounding sort of disappointed.

"I told you, Dahyun invited me to watch their volleyball game." Momo said. Nayeon looked at me and winked.

"Hmm, okay... And why would she do that?"

"I- She- Uh... I don't know." Momo replied, nervousness visible in her voice. Nayeon chuckled victoriously.

"Momo has a fan!" she said in singsong. Then she looked at me and we started singing together.

"Momo and Dahyun, sitting on a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"

"Yeah, yeah, as if you don't seek every chance there is to see Jeongyeon.". It was now Momo's turn to tease Nayeon who blushed immediately and hid her face in her hands.

"So, you actually like Jeongyeon?" I asked. Nayeon is always complicated with her flings, who she likes and who she hates and so on.

"I don't like her, I just... admire her. From afar. I think?"

Momo chuckled as she stopped in front of Mina's house. Mina came in and sat next to me.

"So, what are we doing?"

"Teasing Momo about Dahyun and Nayeon about Jeongyeon."

"I have an idea. Why don't we tease Sana about Tzuyu?" Nayeon suggested. I rolled my eyes as the three girls exclaimed in awe.

"Wow, Nayeon! This is truly a good idea coming from your mouth!" Momo chuckled.

"Better not get used to it Momo."

"Ooh, savage Minari!"

"I thought we were going to tease Sana!" Nayeon complained.

"No time, we're here already." Momo said as she parked the car in her usual spot at the parking lot.

"What about Jihyo?"

"She's coming with Daniel." Nayeon rolled her eyes and we all exited the car and made our way to the school's indoor courts. The match we were going to watch was Fierce's Falcons against Duke's Dolphins. Duke school has been our school's biggest rival ever since... forever.

We arrived at the indoor basketball and volleyball courts and saw students and parents occupying most of the area. I saw some familiar faces, like Irene, Jisoo, Rosé and, on one side of the bleachers, V with his friends and some girls who were just drooling over them. Ridiculous.

"Come this way, Dahyun got VIP tickets for all of us."

"Wha- She did?"

"Yeah..." Momo scratch the back of her neck, knowing that she was going to be teased. Again.

"For all of us, or just for you?"

"She's probably planning on dedicating a point on you."

"She'd dedicate the whole championship if she could."

"Shut up guys. She got the tickets for all of us."

We sat down at the VIP seats, waiting for Jihyo and Daniel. Jihyo and Daniel were a kind of complicated situation. Once, they were best friends, then they were friends with benefits and now they're just friends. Or, that's what they tell us.
