The mist training went By fast for genya, so did the love pillar, and serpent pillar.
Jeez, I feel like the serpent hashira was out to specifically target me. Did it have something to do with ignoring that pink haired girl at the swordsmith village?
Genya thought to himself. He didn't actually care about what happened at any hashira's training, except this one.
There he was, standing in front of the house that belonged to his big brother.
Genya decided that he wouldn't talk to Sanemi untill they were alone. He thought His older brother would be more personal privately.
Genya walked to the training grounds, expecting harsh training. He new his brother, and Sanemi didn't go easy on just anyone.
When Genya arrived, he was grateful he wasn't late, and that Sanemi hadn't come out yet. Genya didn't want to think about how angry Sanemi would be if anyone was late.
When Genya stepped on the grounds, he heard multiple whispers and gossip.
"This guy is nuts! I asked if we could take a break just for a quick breath yesterday, but he launched out on me and said, 'If you need constant breaks while fighting a demon, I might as well kill you now to get this over with'!"
"Eek! Everyone shut up! He's here!"
Genya looked up and saw the one thing he loved most, His big bro.
Sanemi noticed Genya in the crowd, but turned away his eyes and spoke.
"Get your lazy asses up and get ready! This is no playground! Today you'll fight each other, winners are safe, losers get to speak with me."
Sanemi made quite the scary face at the final part of his speech.
This shouldn't be too difficult, just fight until there's nobody left to fight. like demon slaying, but with less, non-multiplying things to fight.
"Ready!"
Sanemi yelled out, and everyone got in two distant lines, to fight in an organized way.
Genya joined the lesser line. He didn't really know how this worked, but hoped he found out soon enough.
"Begin!"
People started to fight whoever was on the other side of the line. Genya fought his fighting partner, and won with ease.
Then the people who lost the fights stood up and walked to the edge of the training grounds with discomfort on their faces. Or was it fear? It sure looked like it when Sanemi looked at them in a terrifying way.
The fighting practice continued, and Genya was the last one standing, he felt like Sanemi, to always win a fight. At least in Genya's eyes he did.
Sanemi looked at Genya, still on the training grounds, making him one of the three winners.
Sanemi let a surprise face pass him, but changed it and looked at the losers.
Well, good that genya won. I didn't want to talk to him anyways. And these guys are weak. Of coarse they'd lose to Genya. I mean, Genya won against them.
Come on punks, it's time for a little talking to.
Almost the entire training coarse-exept for Genya and two others.- followed Sanemi inside the house.
So you can go inside the house. Maybe I can talk to Sanemi inside.
Genya didn't know how he was gonna talk to Sanemi, but he was gonna talk to Sanemi, one way or another.
