Chapter 7

The day after our date, I woke up to what sounds like Kian screaming. I hurry up and put on normal clothes, then I go see what's going on.

I follow the sound of the scream. It leads to outside. Jc and kian were sitting outside making a video. They were both covered in what looks like egg salad, whipped cream, ketchup, mustard, and chocolate pudding.

"Ok everyone. That was the best friend challenge!" kian says.

"I Smell like shit!" Jc says.

"Anyways! comment down below what you want us to do for our next challenge. Oh! and be sure to leave us a big thumbs up down below!" kian says. He says the rest of the outro then stops recording. Jc sees me and slowly walks closer.

"Hey Maddie! how's it going?" he says.

"Jc, what are you doing? Please don't come near me." I say.

"Come on Maddie, I just want a hug."

"No."

"Then at least give me a kiss."

"No!" Jc comes running towards me. I scream and dodge him. He keeps chasing me. I think about what I'm wearing. A plain white tee, flip flops, jean shorts, a beanie, and my underwear and bra. 'Is my phone on me?' 'nope'.

I look to the side and see kian recording us. I flip off the camera then run for the pool. I jump in and swim to the middle. Jc looks at me like I'm crazy.

"If you want me, you're going to have to come get me." I say to him, sounding as sexual as possible. He blushes, shrugs, and starts to walk away. I frown. I begin to feel stupid for saying that. That is until I see Jc stop, turn around, and run very quickly towards the pool.

He jumps in and swims towards me. When he gets here, he grabs my waist and pulls me close. He comes real close to me.

"Gotcha." He whispers in my ear. He then smashed his lips to mine. I smile into the kiss, then I pull away.

"Yep you did." I look over and see kian smiling like a maniac. "What is it kian?" I ask.

"Nothing, it's just you Guys are really cute." He answers. I just blush and look down. Jc puts a finger on my chin and pulls my face up.

"Don't hide the blush, you're beautiful." He says.

"Yeah, okay." I answer and swim away.

"Hey, stop it. You're absolutely gorgeous." He says. I stop swimming and look at him.

"If I was gorgeous, why do I have an ex boyfriend who called me ugly? Why do people I don't even know call me ugly? How come you're the only person I know that calls me pretty?" I ask.

"Why does it matter what those assholes think? You have to block out the bad with the good. There could be thousands of people calling you names, but the ones that stand out most, are the good ones. There could be a room full of people saying mean things to you, but ill be that one person there you listen to. I'll be the one calling you beautiful." He says. I begin to tear up.

"I-I'm sorry." I say swimming to the edge and getting out. I run into the house and up to my room, passing a confused Ricky. I take my clothes off, get in the shower, sit down, and cry.

"Maddie!" I hear Jc yell. Then my i hear my bedroom door open and a knock on the door. "Maddie? can I come in?" he asks.

"Y-yea." I answer. The shower curtains are closed. Jc walks in and sits on the toilet.

"Are you ok?" he asks.

"Yea, I'm sorry." I say.

"I don't really understand what happened."he says.
