In a small town located in the state of Montana, life in Green Hills had never been the same, once a tiny blue alien creature had entered into the lives of many of the residents living in the town. That blue creature was an anthropomorphic hedgehog named Sonic. Once living on his own home planet with his guardian, an owl named Longclaw, the two ended up being targeted by a tribe of echidnas, resulting in the young hedgehog being instructed to leave his home planet by his guardian. For many years, the blue hedgehog lived in isolation on Earth, while also growing quite accustomed to the people and the culture of his own surroundings. Everything changed as soon as he met his favorite human, a cop named Tom Wachowski. The two of them didn't quite see eye to eye at first, but slowly got along with each other while also running away from Sonic's greatest enemy. His greatest enemy was a man named Dr. Robotnik. Having previously worked alongside the government, Robotnik tried his hardest to capture the hedgehog for his own experiments, ultimately leading to him trying to destroy the creature once he found out how powerful he actually was. After his failed attempts, the mad scientist was now stranded on a planet filled with mushrooms after facing a battle with the hedgehog.

A few months after the events of his battle with the hedgehog, we find out how Robotnik had been living in isolation on the Mushroom Planet. The man had slowly become more and more deranged as he sought ways on how he can get himself off the planet. He even made a replica of his faithful human sidekick named Agent Stone, which was literally just a block of stone. Robotnik also held onto one of Sonic's quills that he had found back on Earth. He used the quill to stir the drink he had made from mushrooms.

His greatest attempt was setting up a beacon to open up a portal back to Earth. He went up on top of a tall mushroom to power up his machine. As he tested it out, using Sonic's quill, a gigantic explosion occurred. This led to the doctor screaming and flying off on top of the mushroom and into the ground.

As he laid unconscious on the ground, a portal had opened up, to which three warrior-like figures appeared. One of the figures came close to Robotnik and tried poking him to see if he would wake. It was only a matter of time until the doctor woke up and yelled at his traps as a signal to drive them away, including his rock sidekick which he had used to knock one of the scavengers down.

Now that the scavengers were gone and gotten rid of, it was the perfect time for the doctor to make his move and enter into the portal. He ran towards it, but before he could even make it through, a small shadowy figure slowly emerged out from it. Robotnik stops at a halt before he could make out who this figure was. The figure turns out to be a red echidna, who was a warrior of a small tribe of echidnas on his planet. He glanced at the blue quill that Robotnik held in his hand.

"Where did you get that?" he asked Robotnik.

The mad scientist quickly lifted up the quill in his hand and showed it to him. He replied back at him with a smirk on his face, "From a little blue menace on a planet called Earth. I'd be happy to show you the way."

Back on Earth, the Wachowskis weren't the only humans who would eventually befriend the young hedgehog.

Leah Anderson, a young 15 year old girl, currently attends Green Hills High School and lives with her foster dad, Philip Nicholson, a young businessman who works as a part-time agent as well. Both of her parents had died when she was at a very young age. It is currently unknown as to what was the cause of their death and the few pieces of remnants she has of them are a photo of all three of them, and a special gift that she had gotten from her mom at a young age. This gift was not an ordinary gift however. This gift was actually a small green emerald stone attached to a chain in the form of a necklace. It has been said that her mother had found this necklace on one of her many travels where she would study ancient architects from the many types of ruins that she would visit. The collector of the item had told her that the gem on the necklace was a very important piece of history and was seen as a sign of protection and luck to anyone who may possess it. She decided to buy the necklace and gave it to her daughter as a lucky charm. To this day, the young girl held onto her lucky charm, especially in times where she was feeling down.
