The Rise of Blue Justice

Meanwhile on Planet Earth, Sonic was now living quite contently with both Tom and his wife, Maddie, at their home. After defeating his own nemesis a few months back, the hedgehog now saw himself as the town's hero and was determined to protect the people around him as much as he could.

One night in Seattle, everything seemed like it was normal and peaceful for everyone in the city, that is until a group of robbers had showed up all of a sudden to raid inside one of the delivery trucks. Their attempts had seemed successful, that is until a certain figure would try to stop them.

Right on top of one of the buildings, the blue hedgehog had witnessed everything that had been going on down on the streets. He got himself warmed up first by doing a few stretches, some punches, and munching on his favorite snack, a chili dog.

He then jumped off the building and started dashing his way through the streets and avoiding all vehicles. He then hops into the van and kicks the criminals out of the way, proceeding to take the wheel. As he drove, a man in the back was tied up and had duct tape over his mouth, trying to speak to Sonic.

"I'm sorry, I don't speak duct tape" the hedgehog said as he removed the tape over his mouth.

"What the heck are you?" the man asks while the hedgehog smugly responds back to him.

"Fear not, citizen. I am the hero you need and the hero you deserve. The blue dawn that banishes the darkest..HOLY CRAP!!"

Just as a bystander was walking across the road, he quickly made a turn to avoid running into them.

The security guard kept warning Sonic about the bombs that were scattered inside the truck. The hedgehog tried his best to get rid of the bombs by throwing them out of the truck. However, said bombs would end up exploding out on the street in a nearby truck. Just as he thought he had gotten rid of all the bombs there was still one left inside. The man pointed out that one dynamite stick was stuck in his quills.

Sonic was so confident in his actions that he didn't notice that they would be driving straight towards an ice cream truck. He then proceeded to take out a drill out of a bag, then got to the roof of the truck to remove the screws off of it. The truck kept moving as it kept falling apart one by one, suddenly stopping at a halt right before reaching the ice cream stand.

The dynamite stick from earlier, ended up rolling out in the streets and landing inside a sewer. Suddenly, water had started gushing out of multiple sewers in the street.

The security guard, still tied up, looked up into the air to see that Sonic was now up on top of a building, claiming his victory.

"No need to thank me citizens. All in a night's work for...Blue Justice!"

"You're a terrible hero!" he shouted back at him.

After a night full of action, the hedgehog raced back over to his home in Green Hills and snuck right back into his room, hoping he wouldn't get caught. He ends up leaving a trail of bank notes and proceeds to hide them in his drawer. As he does this he finds a feather inside his map which had belonged to Longclaw. He couldn't help but reminisce about his childhood days living with her back on their home planet.

"I miss you Longclaw. I'm trying to make you proud" he says as he places the feather and map back into his pouch.

He then climbs into his bed to get some shuteye, only to be greeted by the family dog Ozzie, who licks his face. Maddie enters the room, asking the hedgehog why he hasn't woken up yet as he was supposed to meet up with Tom. He then gets up unwillingly as he continues to get showered by Ozzie's licks.
