The night was supposed to be a celebration, a joyful gathering of friends and family. Bangtan Sonyeondan, BTS, had just wrapped up another successful concert, and their excitement and adrenaline were still palpable. The seven members had decided to unwind at their dorm, sharing stories and laughter over a late dinner. The room was filled with the scent of fried chicken and the sound of clinking glasses, a testament to their bond and the years they'd spent together.

Jungkook, the youngest member, was his usual vibrant self, teasing his hyungs and enjoying the lighthearted atmosphere. Jin, the eldest, watched over them with a fond smile, his heart swelling with pride for his brothers. They had come a long way since their debut, and nights like these were precious reminders of their journey.

But as the night wore on, the energy began to shift. What started as playful banter turned into something more serious. A comment here, a misunderstood joke there, and the mood in the room started to change. Jin, always protective and sometimes overly so, found himself growing more irritable. The exhaustion from the concert, the pressure of their constant success, and the weight of his responsibilities began to wear on him.

Jungkook, with his boundless energy and sometimes reckless abandon, was the catalyst. His teasing, which was usually taken in stride, began to grate on Jin's nerves. It was a subtle shift at first, unnoticed by the others. But as Jungkook continued to push, unknowingly stepping on sensitive topics, Jin's frustration grew.

"Jungkook, enough," Jin said, his voice tight with barely restrained anger.

"Ah, hyung, come on," Jungkook replied, laughing. "You know I'm just messing around."

But Jin wasn't in the mood for jokes. "I said enough!" he snapped, his tone sharper than intended.

The room fell silent, the other members exchanging uneasy glances. Jungkook's smile faltered, confusion replacing the amusement in his eyes.

"What's your problem?" Jungkook retorted, his own temper flaring. "I was just trying to lighten the mood."

"My problem?" Jin repeated, standing up. "You never know when to stop, do you? Always pushing, always testing limits."

Jungkook stood as well, his jaw set in defiance. "Maybe if you weren't so uptight all the time, we wouldn't have this issue!"

The argument escalated quickly, their voices rising as years of pent-up frustrations and unspoken grievances came to the surface. The other members tried to intervene, but the words between Jin and Jungkook were like a wildfire, spreading too quickly to contain.

"Why do you always have to be so serious?" Jungkook shouted. "It's like you don't even care about having fun anymore!"

"Fun?" Jin yelled back. "Is that all you think about? This isn't a game, Jungkook! This is our career, our lives!"

The room was tense, the air thick with anger and hurt. And then, in a moment of blind rage, Jin did something he would regret for the rest of his life. He raised his hand and slapped Jungkook across the face.

The sound of the slap echoed through the room, and time seemed to stand still. Jungkook's head snapped to the side, his hand flying to his cheek as he stumbled back, stunned. The other members froze, their eyes wide with shock.

For a moment, there was nothing but silence. Then, slowly, Jungkook turned to face Jin, his eyes filled with a mixture of pain and betrayal. But beneath that, something darker was stirring. Memories long buried began to resurface, triggered by the slap. Memories of a childhood filled with fear and pain, of parents who had used their hands not for love, but for punishment.
