Jungkook sat alone in his dimly lit apartment, the silence weighing heavily on him. The ticking of the clock on the wall seemed to mock him, each second reminding him of the passage of time he felt slipping away from his grasp. The usually vibrant energy that fueled his performances and captivated millions of fans around the world was nowhere to be found. Instead, an oppressive darkness had settled over him, a darkness that felt impossible to escape.
He glanced at his phone, which buzzed with messages from his six closest friends and bandmates: Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Yoongi. Each notification was a reminder of the support system he had, yet even their words of encouragement felt distant, like echoes in a vast, empty cave.
Jungkook knew he should reach out to them, that they would understand and want to help, but the heavy blanket of depression that shrouded him made even the simplest tasks seem insurmountable. His friends had been there through thick and thin, but how could he burden them with the depth of his despair when they had their own struggles to manage?
He dragged himself out of bed, his body aching from the lack of sleep and the weight of his thoughts. Staring at his reflection in the bathroom mirror, he barely recognized the person looking back. The spark in his eyes was gone, replaced by a hollow emptiness. Dark circles under his eyes told the story of countless sleepless nights spent wrestling with his mind.
Jungkook splashed water on his face, hoping to wash away the fatigue and the constant gnawing anxiety that seemed to have taken permanent residence within him. But it was no use. The water only offered a fleeting moment of clarity before the fog of depression descended once more.

Namjoon, the leader of BTS, had noticed Jungkook's gradual withdrawal. He saw the way Jungkook's laughter no longer reached his eyes, the way he seemed to shrink into himself during their group activities. Namjoon had tried to talk to him, to break through the walls Jungkook had built around himself, but his attempts were met with polite deflection and assurances that everything was fine.
Namjoon decided it was time to rally the group. He called a meeting at the dorm they all used to share, knowing that they needed to be together to address what was happening with their youngest member.
"Jungkook's not doing well," Namjoon began, looking around at his friends' concerned faces. "I think he's struggling more than he's letting on. We need to be there for him."
Jin, the oldest, nodded in agreement. "He's been so quiet lately. I've noticed it too. We need to let him know it's okay to not be okay."
Hoseok, usually the energetic mood-maker, looked uncharacteristically serious. "I've seen him sitting alone, just staring into space. It's not like him. We have to do something."
Taehyung and Jimin exchanged worried glances. They had both been trying to reach out to Jungkook, but their efforts had been met with the same distant smiles and reassurances.
Yoongi, who had his own history with mental health struggles, spoke up. "We need to give him space but also let him know we're here. Sometimes just knowing you're not alone can make a difference."

That evening, the group gathered at Jungkook's apartment. Namjoon knocked on the door, and after a long pause, Jungkook opened it, surprise and a flicker of anxiety crossing his face as he saw all of them standing there.
"Hey, Kookie," Namjoon said gently. "We just wanted to check in on you. Can we come in?"
Jungkook hesitated, but then stepped aside to let them in. They settled in the living room, the atmosphere heavy with unspoken concern.
