A lone female trudged along the snow covered ground and murmured some displeasures inspecting the materials and salvaging any scrap until her scanner went off as some form of unknown organic matter was nearby.
She got up and looked up following the trail of blood and took a hand cannon out of her coat pocket and aimed it as she saw a male in a Arctic suit with dried frozen blood staining his armor.
She smiled bending down to apply her hand on his neck could feel a steady heartbeat. She grabbed a vial in her jacket and knowing her technical know how she administered the serum into his suit. By the time she had dragged the parts and male back to her base the blizzard was on them as she happily closed the doors eyeing her prize.

I open my eyes and hastily shield them from the light that was shining down on me as pain shot through me and hearing the steps outside in the hallway.

A woman stepped in with bird wings, snake tail, and glowing eyes with a tray of food and pills in a cup and pieced it together that she was a descendant of K'uk'ulkan's.

??: "How rude. Even after I saved you and patched up that injury."
I looked down to see that the injury I had sustained from the accident was bandaged up and any minor injuries had little bandages or covered in some ointment.
"Well...I guess I can trust you temporarily. Sorry."
??: "Haha it's alright cutie~ your to cute to be mean at me. But do tell me what your doing here. Usually you don't arrive here unless you deliberately come here."
She applies new bandages as the event was still fuzzy but it was visible in my memories as I started to recount.

"Is this even a wise idea? I mean we're using experimental technology to use the other side as a fast travel? Isn't there rules regarding the use of the other side. Last time I played a game like that and kids started to use mumbo jumbo magic."

The rest of the team laughed at my superstitious beliefs but I held some caution.
