special chapter two

danielle pov:

as haerin and me are just cuddling on the couch, having made lunch together just a while ago while haeun is walking around in her baby walker, the love of my life suddenly turns towards me, her eyes all cat-like with a hint of something up her sleeve in her eyes as i quickly turn my attention to our youngest child, noticing how her futures are much more similar to mine than they are to haerin, as the twins are practically copies of her.

when i'm just thinking about the love i have for this whole family, not forgetting my side of the family as well as haerin's side, haerin suddenly starts tickling me, making me laugh like crazy, oh my god this woman.

"HAERIN-AH STOP IT!!",i scream out in between laughter, haerin also laughing loudly now as haeun looks at us with her curious round baby eyes, oh how much i love this baby and her cat mom. "nope, never ever, my love!",my amazing wife replies, laughing maniacally as i turn us around.

pinning the cat-like girl onto our couch, i start tickling her even harder than she did to me just now, hearing little giggles leaving her mouth as haeun giggles along, their sweet voices melting my heart and soul deeply, "what are you gonna do now, huh, kang haerin?", i say lowly, haerin's hands stopping mine as she interlaces them, making me fall forwards, falling on her as our lips press together.

"haerin-ah..",i moan out into haerin's ear, making out feverishly with her as i can't help but whimper when she flips us over, haerin now hovering over me as we get lost in the moment.

suddenly, a small hand is pulling on my shirt's sleeve, it being our 7 month old haeun, who's pouting as she babbles to us, probably wanting to get kissed too so haerin unpins me from underneath her, moving to sit down next to me as she picks up the 7 month old, putting her on her lap as she peppers the infant with kisses all across her face, eliciting the cutest giggles i've ever heard in my whole life.

until this day, i still can't believe that this is how our daily life looks like, everyone happy and healthy, having our dream family together, being happily married together and our souls still being like kids' as we can still share some silly times with each other along with raising our kids and providing for them, making up a perfect life that little dani would've dreamt of, we did it, really, we did, kang dani.

"haeunie, can you say mama? say mama, baby!", haerin's voice brings me back to reality, her eyes fixated on her as she holds our baby up into the air, only cute giggles leaving the 7 month old's mouth as i smile at the two of them, a pout on haerin's lips.

3rd person pov:

after a while of the couple trying to get their youngest to say her first word, haerin notices it's time to pick up the twins from school, bringing both danielle and haeun along with her as they carpool quietly, songs like baby shark, newjeans and other artists mixing together.

once they arrive at the oldest children's school, haerin quickly checks up on their youngest daughter, eyes shut as her pacifier is in her mouth, her puppy-like futures, which she indeed got from the older one among them, making her eyes go soft as a smaller hand grabs onto her neck, soft lips feverishly peppering haerin's neck as the latter throws her head back with a quiet moan, "dani unnie..", she whimpers as danielle's lips don't seem to end.

"shh, haerin baby, let me shower you with love, okay?",she lowly whispers into the latter's ear as she leaves kisses behind haerin's ear, making sure to leave extra kisses on her soft spot.

while both of them are too lost in the moment to notice that the twins are skipping towards the car, knocking is heard on the window, surprising the married couple."mama, mommy, we're back!", both haewon and haemin say loudly, being in sync as usual as they show their teeth.

"oh shit-", haerin retorts as she quickly pushes her wife off of her, making the latter fall onto her own seat as she glares at her wife funnily, both of them trying hard to refrain themselves from laughing as haerin gets out of the car to help the twins get into their car.

"mama, what were mommy and mama doing just now in the car?? minju said that she saw her mama minji and her mommy hanni kiss one day too and they said that they were.. what was it, haeminie?",haewon, the older one of the twins asks, her cat eyes curiously looking at both of her parents as danielle chuckles, "minju said that they were making out!! were mama and mommy doing that too??",the younger one of the twins finishes his twin sister's sentence, haewon nodding, while haerin starts the engine, glancing over at her wife's now flustered expression.

"uhmm.. yeah, i guess, we were doing that, but i need to have a word with minju's parents, did she say who told her that they were making out???",haerin replies as she notices that dani is too flustered to answer her oldest daughter's question, haewon tapping her chin slightly as haemin blows air into his cheeks, haewon having her habit from danielle as haemin has his from haerin. "minju said that her mama minji explanationed (explained) it to her!!",haewon smiles sweetly, of course she did, who else would've told her five year old child that?

"of course it was minji, hanni probably gave her a goood talk after that, though, want me to call her right now, baby? maybe haewonie and haeminie can talk to minju as well",danielle clears her throat before speaking out loud haerin's thoughts, who's staring at her lover with those eyes that always manage to make danielle's knees melt."that's a yes",danielle huffs out, putting her hand over haerin's to signal her that the traffic light has turned green again, fishing out her phone out of her pocket as she calls hanni, who immediately picks up at her friend's call.

"hi hanni-yah!! we heard from dalia and damian (their english names) that minju told them that she saw you two making out once, and minji explained to her that you were making out? did you know that?? did you give minji a good spanking after???",danielle half scolds and half giggles through the phone, making the woman on the driver's seat chuckle, those two are still the same old hanni and minji that they've always known. "oh, duh, i gave her a TALK, not a spanking, my gosh, nielle-ah, how are your kids doing?",she replies with the same tone as dani just did, joking but also serious, somehow.

"right, you gave her a talk, only that, mhmm, haewonie and haeminie are doing good, just picked them up from school and haeunie is sleeping like an angel next to them, how's minju? i heard she's coming down with a fever?? poor kid", dani answers, repeating her friend's question as hanni just sighs out. "yeah, she's doing better right now, said she misses haewonie and haeminie, are you two okay with dropping them off at our's? minju's really waaay better than this morning so you don't have to worry about them getting sick!", hanni thoughtfully suggests, making dani smile at her wife as their twins nod enthusiastically.

"oh, yeah, sure! they're really happy to do that, haerin-ah, could you just turn left? you know where hanni and minji live, right?",danielle turns towards her wife, who hums sweetly, already looking forward to having some more alone time with her lover since they both know that their youngest won't wake up soon. "alright! see you soon then, dani-yah! minju said hi to haewonie and haeminie!!",hanni indicates to end the call, as danielle and haerin return the words, happy that their childhood friend group is still alive, that they've secured their children a great childhood friend group too.
