3rd person pov:
*about a week later*
during the three days of danielle's getting better in the hospital, haerin has (almost) never left the older girl's side, keeping her updated about the past school month, bringing her whatever she requests from her house, making her get-well-soon cards for everyday, entertaining her and helping her along with herself get rid of the traumatic experience that could've killed the puppy-like girl, but she was stronger.
anyway, now they're at danielle's house, in said person's room as the doctors let her go home, the older girl still not coming to classes due to her parents wanting her to relax more as haerin is keeping her up to date about school.
"okay so, we talked about world war two in history today.. and we played volleyball in pe today!",the cat-eyed girl explains to the older girl, going on with explaining every detail of their classes, assignments and showing danielle what they wrote down, but haerin noticed that danielle has been a bit off today, like she's not thinking about school, but something else.
when haerin stops talking to stare at her childhood best friend, the korean-australian lets out a sound of confusion, both of them just staring at each other with eyes full of love and wanting for each other, their feelings being obvious to outsider's but both of them being too dense to feel it, as well, too lovestruck to notice.
"uh, okay, anyways, unnie wanna take a walk in the park? it's not too cold today!",haerin suggests, breaking the comfortable silence between them as danielle isn't listening to what she's saying. "dani unnie!!! hello??? are you okay?",the cat-eyed girl loses patience, not being used to seeing danielle like this at all.
once again, the two teenagers stare at each other wordlessly, haerin having moved closer to danielle now as she softly cups the older girl's cheeks, which are visibly turning reddish, both of them feeling the same way.
danielle pov:
this night, i dreamt about haerin kissing me, and i meant like, full on making out with me.. i have no idea what that was or what it meant but i wish we could kiss like that in real life as well, i mean, isn't it obvious that i like, no, wait scratch that, love her?
suddenly, haerin moves closer to me and cups my cheeks, what the heck??? i want to kiss her so bad. "hae-",i begin, getting silenced by haerin's index finger on my lips, "haerin, kiss me",i let out, whining as haerin moves her hands away.
when we stare at each other once more, i feel the need to feel haerin's lips on mine, she's just so alluring, it's like her eyes, her lips, her voice are calling out to me to just kiss her. my inner angel and devil are debating, i can just hear the voices in my head.
'should i or should i not? will haerin be weirded out?', i think to myself when haerin cups my cheeks again, slowly leaning in as our lips are only inches away from touching. "unnie, do you want this as much as i do?",haerin breathes out, her warm breath fanning on my lips.
"yes, haerin, i want this, maybe even much more than you do.. please just kiss me, kang haerin", i reply, immediately getting cut off by haerin's soft lips on mine, our lips perfectly fitting onto each other's as haerin's hands move to pick me up onto her lap, this feels much better than i expected it to be.
after about a minute of our lips moving against each other's, haerin parts the kiss, strings of saliva sticking on our lips as haerin's face and i'm pretty sure mine too, is red as a tomato, making her look absolutely adorable. "unnie, i..-", haerin begins, her eyes full of desire, love, even.
"shh, i know, haerinnie, i know",i shush her, still on top of her as her hands are dangerously placed on my waist, "i like you, haerin, no wait, i love you",i confess, wanting to take the first step before haerin could, since she kissed me first,
so it's only fair like that. "i love you too, nielle unnie.. please-",haerin returns, making me blush even more, cutting her off as i put my lips on her's again, i mean, how could i not??
once again, our lips are feverishly moving against each other's, my arms looped around the cat-eyed girl's neck as her tongue slips into my mouth, shit.
"haerin-ah..",i let out with a slight whimper in my voice, both of us being so lost in the moment that neither of us notice the door to my room opening, the person, or should i say people, unmovingly standing in the door way as they just watch us making out.
after we've parted the kiss, coughing is heard in my room, along with cooing, surprising me as i fall off of haerin's lap and onto my bed, seeing my best friends standing in my doorway. "what the- since when are you three here and have you ever heard of knocking??",i scold the three of them as they just snicker, feeling haerin's hands on my back as she hides behind me.
"sorry, peeps, but that was quite enjoyable to watch, can you do that agai-",the dwarf, hanni retorts, getting shut up by minji as she puts her hand over her mouth, deserved.
"we're sorry, you two love birds, but like, what did we miss? hello? quit being shy kang kitty and spill the tea!!",minji exclaims, all of them now sitting in front of my bed like curious cats who want to know what their owner is doing, making me look over at haerin, who has the same look on her face, curiosity etched across her face.
right, we didn't really clear anything up yet, we just confessed our feelings to each other and went straight back to making out.
after a while of minji, hanni and hyein patiently waiting for either of us to start explaining ourselves, haerin puts her arm around my waist, clearing her throat before looking at me hopefully, 'are we offical?',that look says, to which i nod.
"okay so, we kissed, i mean, i kissed dani unnie first.. and then we confessed to each other so we kissed again.. and suddenly you guys had to break our moment!!", haerin explains, not forgetting to add a joke to the sentence as our three best friends chuckle, congratulating us.
3rd person pov:
while haerin explains more details about her feelings towards the eighteen year old,
dani hearing all of this for the first time, pinches haerin's adorable cheeks, hanni cooing along as danielle was the only one who ever told the three of them about her feelings towards haerin, since the cat-like girl is quite reserved and private about herself, only ever telling anything danielle.
a bit later, the three best friends leave danielle's house, saying they were just going to check up on danielle's well being, as they were on the way to an interview regarding the broadcasting club, which neither danielle or haerin are in.
"sooo kang kang's, we're officially dating now, huh?", danielle teases haerin, an eyebrow raised as haerin smiles foolishly, swearing to herself that she's going to treat danielle well, that she's going to appreciate everything the elder does.
so she nods, proudly showing her teeth as danielle affectionately embraces the younger girl, getting hugged back by haerin, both of them feeling like they're dreaming, but it indeed not being a dream as it has now turned dark outside, the clock striking 6 pm, it being pretty normal to be that dark outside in late autumn.
while they part their embrace, haerin looks at the time, noticing that she needs to be home by now as her grandma is coming over, bidding goodbye to her lover, who smilingly waves towards the cat-eyed girl.
immediately regretting not kissing the younger girl, who's now walked out of her room, both of them having the same thing on their minds as danielle runs downstairs, having reached the door as she pins the slightly shorter girl onto the wall, their lips intertwining in a hazy kiss, "visit me again tomorrow, okay?",danielle says once haerin is out of the door, her cheeks red and her eyes full of love as she happily nods in return, blowing a kiss towards danielle. "yes, i love you, my sunshine", she shouts out, leaving danielle to blush like crazy.
