Chapter Five-The Villainous Hero

I couldn't sleep at all for the rest of the night. Hermione had went to Ginny's room apparently when I started to scream, so Sirius had helped me to the bed and laid my birth parents' blanket on top of the duvet. He stayed on the sofa that was once mine for the rest of the night, but then he fell asleep and I was alone with my thoughts. I heard Sirius struggle to pull himself up on the sofa, so I quickly face away from him and pretend to be sleeping. Hiss feet patter against the floor and the mattress dips.

"Elora, it's time to wake up. You're going to back to Hogwarts today," he shook my shoulder, and I did my best to face him, "I'm not sure if I'll see you before you guy, but do not hesitate to write me."

I nod in response and Sirius sighs before leaving me alone to prepare for my journey. I slip out of the bed and head towards my belongings. I pack away the blanket and my journal before I grab a pair of clothing. I pull out a new pair of black jeans and a baggy grey sweater along with plain sneakers. I rushed to put them on, not wanting anyone let alone myself to see my body. I eerily step down the stairs, being met with a deep glare from Hermione. She was clearly upset that I disrupted her sleep the night before a big day. She will have to deal with that on her own. I wasn't going to let her whiny qualities to add onto my day.

I had managed to avoid everyone until it was time to go to King Cross Station. We had to cram into a car for our journey there, I was placed in between Harry and Ginny. Ginny kept stealing glances at Harry whilst I just stared straight forward with a cold stone look on my face. I figured it wouldn't represent myself well if I kept breaking down at Hogwarts. I bolted out of the car when I had my first chance. I know it was quite rude to leave everyone like that, but I needed fresh air. I took my luggage out of the trunk and headed to Platform 9 and 3/4, not looking back.

I was on the train very quickly. With no one to say goodbye to, it was easy to get on the train and find a seat. Ever since our first year, it had been a tradition where I would sit with Neville on the ride to Hogwarts. He was truly one of the only friends I had at Hogwarts.

"Elora! Good to see you!" Neville waved from a carriage he had saved for us, but I wanted to be alone, so I gave him a small smile and waved back before trekking onward. I found a carriage all to myself, and sat right next to the window. Some people had tried to sit with me, but I glared at them so they would understand that I want to be left alone. Hermione suddenly came in with no permission, looking frayed.

"Neville was upset because you didn't sit with him, so Ginny had to explain that you had been weird since you returned to 12 Grimmauld Place. What is the matter with you?" she hissed, but I only stared. Stared and stared until she huffed and marched straight out of the doorway. I rested my head against the window and watched families say goodbye to one another. I didn't feel the need to retrieve my journal or my blanket. I let my strained thoughts keep my company, not letting them escape.

Time had passed and my ability to do nothing for prolonged hours of time had exceeded my expectations. I was forced away from my train of thought when I heard a knock on the compartment door. The door slid open and there was a solemn looking Draco Malfoy in the doorway.

"Hello," he said while taking a seat across from me, "how are you?"

"Sweets! Would you two like any sweets?" the lovely lady who served the Honeydukes Express interrupted before I could even consider speaking.

"We'll take two Chocolate Frogs and one Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans," Draco orders. He stands and hands the women money before sitting down again. He offers me a chocolate frog that I'm hesitant to take.

"Here," he says as he unwraps it and takes a small bite of it, "If I can eat it with no problem, it surely is safe."

"Thank you," I mumble, my voice hoarse. I didn't want to talk about what happened two nights ago. I wanted to burn the memory, pretend it never happened. Pretend that the way I was acting was normal, but I must admit it was far from normal. Possibly next to normal.

I was quiet as Draco and I ate while he made comments about each bean he kept trying. He had terrible luck when it came to them. Dirty diaper, ear wax, and more that are much worse. It brought a small smile to my face when I saw his reactions, but my smile wiped away when he decided to try another conversation.

"Are you okay?" he blatantly asked, staring straight into my eyes. Of course some tears tried to betray me, and my jaw began to quiver.

"I'm fine," I finally wheeze, "I believe we're about to arrive at Hogwarts. I'm going to go change into my uniform."

I made my way outside into the hallway where I was about to embark to the bathroom in an attempt to avoid conversation, but fate wasn't on my side. I caught a glimpse of shaggy blonde hair, causing my stomach to hit the floor and a very audible gasp to escape my mouth. He had the perfect timing and smirked when he saw me.

"Hey, Elora," he said as he sauntered over, "It's so good to see you."

"Draco, Draco please," I choked out, hoping he would hear me from outside the compartment.  I banged on the door as discretely as I could, and he got the hint. Draco peaked from the doorway and his jaw clenched.

"I think it would be best for you to go," Draco spit in Henry's face, but to his dismay, Henry laughed.

"Like I'm going to let a small fifth year tell me what to do," Henry snarled and I tried to back away when he noticed me.

"Elora doesn't want you here," Draco reminded him, "No one does."

"Alright. I'll leave for now," Henry holds his hands up in surrender, "but I will be back later. I'll finally get what I want."

"Like hell I'd let that happen," Draco scoffs, but Henry ignores him. Henry stops at me and twirls a piece of my hair.

"I can't wait to tangle my hands in you beautiful hair as I ruin you," he whispers in my ear, taking a whiff of my hair. I shudder away, but he takes it as a good sign as he looks pleased with himself. He swaggers away and I run into the compartment, afraid of what could come next.
