Chapter Twenty-Seven-Cuddle Party

The next morning I woke with an eerie feeling. I felt very shaken up about the fact that James Potter was in my dream. It was strange having a man I had never met before giving me advice in my dream. Maybe I had met him, he did tell me about that teddy bear. The teddy bear, I could picture it perfectly. When I held it, a weird sense of warmth came over me. The room just felt right in its entirety, like it belonged to me. I couldn't shake it.

"Morning, Elora," Harry said as he walked into the dining room. Similarly to my first Christmas at 12 Grimmauld Place, I was washing dishes.

"Morning, Harry," I reply. I was tempted to tell him about the dream, but it would be crazy. Why would I tell him about his father visiting my dreams and not his? "Would you like me to make you some breakfast?"

"I think I'm fine without it, thank you," he turns down the offer and takes a seat at the table. I quickly wipe my hands and grab the picture frame I had placed on the opposite end of the table that was conveniently far from Harry. It was a magic picture I had found here when we arrived last night. It was my mother and father, his father, and Lupin during a summer together when they were Hogwarts students. They were running about the backyard, smiling at the camera whenever they stopped by. I walked over to Harry and placed the frame right in front of him.

"Merry Christmas, Harry. It's our parents, and Lupin," I explain, standing above him. He pushed out his chair and stood up as he admired the picture.

"I can't take this Elora, really. I didn't get you anything and I'm sure you want it as well," he says, pushing the picture back towards me.

"Harry, it's fine. I found a spell, made my own copy. This one's yours now," I tell him, pushing the frame back to him. He envelops me in a hug, and I clutch him close because he's the last family I have left.

"Thank you," he says in my ear and I just nod back. The hug is cut short as Ron enters the room, completely disgusted.

"What the bloody hell? First you go after Malfoy now Harry. You Slytherins are horrendous," he scoffed at the position he saw us in.

"Ron, you do know we're related right? We're cousins," I tell him as Harry snickers beside me. Ron suddenly blushes, his face becoming as red as his hair.

"Come on, Ronald," George tisked as he entered the room.

"Even we knew that," Fred smirks, following behind him.

"Now, I'm going to hug Fred because he saved my life," I say as if I'm talking to a child before hugging Fred, "I'm going to hug George now, because George has been nice to me since I met him," George welcomes me with big arms and rests his head on the top of my head, "WOW! I have not developed any romantic feelings at all! What a shock!"

"Wow mate, looks like your left out of the cuddle party," Fred patted Ron on the back and then headed towards the toast. I let out a great exaggerated sigh before letting go of George.

"Now Ron, if I hug you, Lavender better not come after my head," I say carefully before wrapping my arms around him. He had no response, yet as he started to move around, I gripped him even tighter, "OH GOD! OH NO! I HAVE CONTRACTED FEELINGS! SOMEONE HELP!"

"Get the hell off me," Ron grumbled, trying to push me away, "Lads? Any help here?"

"Sorry, Ron. This looks like a you problem," Harry says, joining the twins. Ron finally tears himself away and looks at me as if I had given him a dead fish.

"I liked you more when you didn't say anything," he sneers, "If you haven't noticed, there's much more serious things going on rather than your 'cuddle party' and you're ridiculous jokes."

"Really now? I've never heard you say that to your brother's before," I acknowledge, backing away so I'm standing between Fred and George, "Besides, they taught me to have fun in even the darkest situations."

"Oh, Georgie, we raised her well," Fred jokingly coos as he messes up my hair and I bat his hands away. Harry goes and joins his bitter friend while Fred, George, and I kept fooling around. I was enjoying my time with them for we would be returning to Hogwarts later in the day. The Weasley's and the Order felt it would be safer if we returned to school early. As we shared our laughs, I couldn't help but think about what Dumbledore had said at the beginning of one of our years.

"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light,"
