You can figure out the importance of the city, by knowing that the paper for our country's paper currency is produced here.
From there we left for our home at the ghats of the holy river, I was feeling good and my father was much more excited to show his childhood to my eyes, irrespective of the sticky hot weather of the town.
We went to the ghats, temples and many of my father's friends visited us .and the next day we were returning, and on the train I found a bunch of jingling kids playing around and were interested in talking with me,
Reminds me of my puerile times.
Thus this journey ended and we were on the platform of our hometown, where I noticed a poster
" missing" with which there was a photo of the man I saw smoking in that old man's shanty.
"Hmm!, what would have happened if he was killed?"
(laugh)
My friend's exam is over and we are just planning a trip to a hill station after my exam,
It's time to get back to work. 10 days are left before the next exam. I am just focused on the past year's papers to get into college, the last hope. For math, I relied on my friend, and the rest is god's will.
*****
One evening while returning home from the evening walk with my friends, my mother said "What was your result?"
" Which result? it's after 10 days "
" Many people called and asked for your results. "
I was in denial because I was sure it was not today, Soon my friends started to search on Google and asked for the necessary details for the result.
" yeah, it's out," my friend said
" How much?" asked Dhru
" 88%tile!"
(narrator: sounds a lot isn't it? but still, the rank was more than 2 lakh)
I was fine with it because at that time I was in a state of comfort after the evening walk but inside I knew it was not enough to get something.
The result highly influenced my confidence level and the family pressure situations but it's very resilient that the effect just lasted 1-2 days, now just a couple of days ahead is the next and the last chance of my career this year. This would be the first-ever CBT I'll be giving, but I'm ready for the best and prepared for the worst too, hail the stoicism!
Today I'm going to the state capital and tomorrow is the exam. It's a night stay because the exam is from 9 am.
Finally! The D-day arrived i woke up at 6 after 6 hours of sleep, feeling dizzy as well as heavy-headed but not nervous because I intentionally left the breakfast, my father was going to drop me off. We reached the center and with the documents, I went inside and purposefully didn't even carry the water bottle, so now I'm fatigued, dizzy, without glucose, electrolytes, and fluid nice!
I went to the 3rd level of the building and first went to the toilet to empty my bladder, I filled it due to the activation of the sympathetic nervous system, then located the room.
As I entered the invigilator asked me "Are you done with all the non-productive businesses?"
" yes, ma'am" I replied
She asked for the documents and, after checking handed them over to me. There were 3 students ahead of me in line and that's when a guy came in and the invigilator asked the same question him, in response he handed over his documents to me and went to the toilet,
After coming back, he asked me "Do you also suck at the advance exam (engineering)? "
"I'm the pre-medical one"
He was silent, The sooner the formalities were completed and I sat on my allotted seat, the computer was on and a countdown was going on '0:45:12'. seats near me were empty and just in front of my eyes there was an opened window and through my angle only the grayish sky was visible, I took it as an omen ' vastness of possibilities. I started meditating as I have done in the past papers, soon the seats around were filled and the guy on my left started talking to me. He was a student of NIT itself but still taking this exam for the sake of a career in research.
sooner the announcement for students to log in was made and we started the exam, the questions of bio were Olympiad level while chemistry and physics were of mains level, i made a strategy at the moment to attempt 40 ques out of 60 just to secure a college without having a heroic plan to increase the risk. And my exam was finished in 2 hrs & 20 mins. Now I have crossed every limit of using the brain roughly and using every single molecule of glucose and H2O available for the brain.
After waiting for 40 minutes the exam was over, now I was exhausted and even saw a few illusions in between, but it was a fine experience. As I went out, I saw my father waiting for me and we left for our city after drinking a few liters of water.
The roads were smooth, the sky was silent, ready for the rain and every other scene in front of my eyes was of the greenery of forests and mountains. We stopped for lunch at a Buddhist city famous for its ancient Buddhist monuments. But my eyes were heavy, I was getting sleepy and my phone was dead too. After reaching home in the evening I was very exhausted and just had my eyes on my bed.
The next day, there was a headline in bold in the newspaper 'THE GUILTY ONE'. The news was all about that murder incident, the murderer was found and I saw the photo attached, 'HIM!!!?'
I was totally shocked after seeing the image. It was the same man whom I saw in the old man's shanty and then his missing posters on the railway station's board.
The forensics discovered that the limbic system of the man is found to be damaged thus, he couldn't feel human emotions. He killed the men at midnight in the dark, two CCTV cameras were not working and one CCTV camera was out of sight from the point of the incident, in the dark he hit the head of the men with a metal rod, but why he did that ? is still the 'Alytos'.
