After closing the door, Mumtaz sat on the bed, eyes shut, bracing for Andrew's next move. When she felt nothing, she opened her eyes and saw him standing by the glass door leading to the balcony, staring outside.

"What are you waiting for? Come and have me," she snarled, her voice laced with sarcasm. Andrew chuckled, glancing over his shoulder.

"Are you a biriyani to be devoured?" he taunted before turning back to the view. Pulling out a cigarette, he lit it and took a drag. Mumtaz marched over, her anger palpable.

"Why are you toying with me? Just do what you came here for," she demanded harshly.

"Yes, I'm here for that, and I will. Be patient, sweetheart," he replied calmly, exhaling a cloud of smoke.

Taking a deep breath, Mumtaz decided to speak her mind, her voice quivering with emotion.

"Are you even human? Don't you have any shame? You know I'm a married woman and a mother. How could you go along with that devil's plan?" she shouted, tears brimming in her eyes.

"After my marriage, he treated me like a slave. Cleaning the mansion, washing his mistresses' clothes—I did everything," Mumtaz's voice cracked. "Every night, I cried, begging Allah for a bit of happiness. And then, I got it—the news of my pregnancy. It gave me a new life. Zafar stopped beating me and started caring for me, especially when the doctor said I was carrying twins. But it all vanished when he found out the genders," she paused, her eyes closing in pain.

**Flashback**

"Mr. and Mrs. Khan, congratulations! You're having a boy and a girl," the doctor's announcement brought tears of joy to Mumtaz's eyes. Zafar's smile, however, disappeared.

"This can't happen," he declared.

"What do you mean?" Mumtaz and Dr. Safla frowned.

"I don't want the girl. Only the boy is needed," Zafar stated coldly. Mumtaz gasped.

"What the hell are you saying, Zafar?"

"Quiet," Zafar snapped, turning to the doctor. "I want only the boy. Understood?" Dr. Safla nodded, trembling.

"I am the mother and I want both my babies," Mumtaz said firmly.

"Are you sure?" Zafar's eyes narrowed.

"Yes," she affirmed.

"Doctor, terminate both," Zafar's order was chilling.

"What?"

"Mumtaz, if you want a child, it must be a boy, not a girl."

**Present**

"To save my boy, my Zain, I agreed," Mumtaz wiped her tears, her gaze locked on Andrew, who remained unmoved.

"Look at you, an emotionless creature," she spat. "You and Zafar are worse than dog shit." Andrew's fist clenched.

"Shut up. I am going to fuck you," he shouted, grabbing her waist and throwing her onto the bed. Mumtaz screamed.

"Your sob stories don't affect me," he sneered, unbuttoning his clothes.

"Please, don't," she begged.

"Oh, I will. I'll fuck you until you bleed," Andrew's voice was menacing. Mumtaz closed her eyes, praying.

"Open your eyes," he ordered, but she whimpered in response.

"Open your bloody eyes," he roared. Mumtaz opened her eyes, her scream filling the room.
