"Reed, send me the copy of the file immediately, okay? WHAT THE HELL!" I screamed, my voice echoing through the office. I turned sharply to see my dear sister, Niya, standing in front of me with my phone in her hand, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.

"Niya, give my phone back," I ordered, reaching out to grab it. But with a deft flick of her wrist, she tossed it across the room towards Derik, who caught it effortlessly.

"Thank God," I exclaimed in relief, feeling a temporary sense of security.

"Brother, you need to remove your stupid business from this trip. We are going to enjoyyy!" Niya declared, bouncing up and down with excitement. Derik shook his head and guided her towards the jet. Moments later, he sprinted back and handed me my phone, looking slightly panicked.

"Ry, here is your precious soul. And don't tell your sister if you don't want to see a funeral today," he said with a mockingly grave expression, making me chuckle.

"Don't worry, bro. I will take care of it," I assured him with a grin.

"Derikkkk!" Niya's voice called out impatiently.

"Coming, baby," he replied, giving me a knowing look before heading back inside to attend to his demanding wife.

"So, Reed..." I began, turning my attention back to my call.

---

"Taj Mahal is soooo pretty!" Niya's shrill voice pierced the air, causing me to wince and cover my ears to prevent them from bursting.

"Derik, we will go there tomorrow, okay?" I said, trying to calm her excitement. He nodded silently, clearly exhausted by her enthusiasm.

"Derikkk..." she whined, her tone becoming increasingly annoying.

"What, woman? Let me hear some music," he blurted out absentmindedly.

He is dead today!

Niya gasped, her eyes narrowing dangerously as she realized what he had been doing. Derik nervously laughed, attempting to diffuse the situation. She stood up and yanked the Bluetooth earbuds from his ears.

"So, all this time, you were listening to music instead of hearing me, weren't you?" she questioned, her voice dangerously low. Derik gulped and looked at me for help, but I quickly averted my gaze towards the window, not wanting to get involved.

"Baby... I had a headache. That's why," he lied, avoiding her piercing gaze.

"Oh really? Then I will help you relieve it. Come with me," she said, dragging him towards our private room.

Finally, I can work peacefully.

Our private jet landed safely, and I adjusted my suit before stepping outside with my phone in hand. Seconds later, a visibly dejected Derik joined me, along with a furious Niya.

"Did you get it?" I asked Derik with a teasing smile. He gave a fake smile, rubbing his red cheek.

"Yes, and I am really happy," he retorted sarcastically.

"Are you two talking about me?" Niya asked seriously, jumping in from behind. We both shook our heads in denial and walked towards our cars.

Nick, my security guard, opened the car door for me. Giving him a curt nod, I slid inside and took out my tablet.

"Sir, ma'am, and master are on their way to the destination," he informed me. I nodded, continuing to check my emails.

Since Dad knew that I was pissed with him, he and Mom took another jet. But on the other hand, I liked to be alone, with no disturbances. Setting the tablet aside, I admired the view outside. It was 7 pm, and the streets were glowing with lights.

I had heard that Delhi is famous for air pollution, and it's really true because millions of vehicles can be seen every day. The proof was right ahead of me. Despite all these issues, the city is renowned for its historical monuments. We were here for a month, so I planned to explore everything slowly.

After an hour-long journey, my car stopped near a large black gate. Hearing the car's sound, someone opened the barriers immediately.

Otherwise, they would have seen another version of Ryan Raichand.

I hopped out of the car as soon as Nick opened the door. I was genuinely impressed with the surroundings. The house was not very big, but it had a gorgeous charm. The pathway was covered with an artificial grass mat, leaving a bit of bare road. Mom, Dad, Derik, and Niya were standing at the entrance, talking with a man, a woman, and a girl. I smiled and made my way towards them.

"Mahesh and Renu, meet my son Ryan," Dad introduced me to the elderly couple. I gave an awkward smile, unsure of how to greet them.

"Hello, beta. I am your dad's and mom's best friend, and this is my wife, Renuka," Uncle Mahesh said, introducing his wife.

"Hello, Uncle. Hello, Aunty," I greeted them politely.

"And this is my younger daughter, Tina," Uncle Mahesh said, introducing the girl who blushed slightly. I mentally smirked and extended my hand.

"Hi, nice to meet you," I said. She shyly held my hand for a moment before quickly withdrawing it.

"Man, she is just little, like your younger sister," Derik whispered, and I glared at him.

"Shut up, you asshole," I whisper-yelled, annoyed at his insinuation.

Did he think I would hit on this girl? Seriously!

"Well, Mahesh, where is your elder daughter?" Dad asked.

Wow, one more girl.

"Um, she is very busy. But don't worry, she will come in an hour," Auntie replied with some hesitation.

"You guys come inside," Uncle Mahesh welcomed us, and we entered the house.

"So, how is your business going?" Uncle Mahesh asked, initiating the conversation.

"It's going really well. Thanks to my son, he is taking care of everything," Dad said, giving me a proud smile.

"You are very lucky to have a son like him," Auntie said warmly.

"He is also your son, Renu," Mom retorted. Just then, my phone rang, interrupting the conversation.

"Um...excuse me. It's urgent," I said politely. After getting their consent, I rushed outside to take the call.

"Yes, Reed," I answered.

"Sir, the Mahendras have decided to make the deal with us," he informed, making me smirk.

"Good. Schedule the meeting for next month. Got it?" I instructed.

"Yes, sir. And good night."

"Night," I muttered, about to return to the house when I heard a different voice.

🎶 jai raghuvanshi ayodhyapati ram chandra ki jai siyavar ram chandra ki jai.🎶

My feet automatically took a U-turn, and I started walking towards the sound. After taking a few steps, I reached a small, cute house that resembled a hut.

🎶raghuvar teri raah nihaarein saaton janam se siya🎶

The music was so soothing and relaxing. Finally, I reached the doorstep. I knew it was bad to peek inside, but my curiosity got the better of me. Without wasting any time, I gently pushed the door open and froze in place.

Inside, I saw a beautiful woman, her presence captivating. She was lost in the song, her voice filling the air with a melody so pure and enchanting that it seemed to transport me to another world. I stood there, unable to move, completely mesmerized by the sight before me.
