The Louvre.

A place of history, of art.

A place that means I'll be bored while Marin does whatever the hell he does in the normal episode.

"Can you believe it? All I gotta do is find out who this history book belongs to and BAM, I figure out Ladybug's true identity! I'm so on this one!" Alya beems as we step off the bus.

She pulled out a science book that we were all given.

"You really think you can figure out who Ladybug is from a textbook that every high school student owns?" Marin asks forcing her to put the item back in her bag.

The brunette smiles, "Yep. 'Cause our school is the only school that uses that book! HA! So, all I gotta do is find out which boy in tenth grade lost his book last week." She pauses setting a hand on her chin, "There are forty-five males, not counting nino."

Cool air conditioning pressed against my warm skin as we entered the building.

Nino?

Oh because of Bubbler!

"Forty-four! Not counting Nino... or me."

Alya elbows him, "Hmm, yesterday somebody didn't have their textbook in class."

Shrugging I bypassed them walking up to some exhibit, "He forgetful. It's Marin we're talking about."

"Hmm..." the brunette chuckles, slinging an arm around my shoulder, "I'm Just messing with him. Of course I'll only drop you from my investigation when you bring your history book back to class."

A small sound left my lips as I was pushed directly into Marin.

The bluenette grabbed my shoulders keeping me on my feet.

The mass the pushed me fell to the ground, papers flying everywhere and a pendant to the ground. "It's not broken!"

Alya glared at him, "Uh, she's okay too, thanks for asking."

The male stands looking down at me, "I'm sorry. Hey, you're in the same grade as Alix, right? I'm her older brother, Jalil Kubdel. So you're into Tutankhamun too?" he looks up, "Dad!"

That man speaks too fast for his own good. I could barely keep up.

The hands on my shoulders finally left, "Are yoou okay?"

He's seriously doing amazing with learning English, bilingual bestie.

"I am, thanks to you."

Alya looks between the two of us, deadpaning, "Ahem! Sorry for being the third wheel, but why are we here?" She looks around, "This exhibit's got something to do with Ladybug? For reals?"

Marin's cheeks settle back to their normal color, "Well, uh..." he looks around frantically before point at some Egyptian papyrus. "Yeah, it's over there"

"What. The fuck. Am I looking at?" I grumble staring at the confusing writing.

"Come on, tell us what it is already!"

"No, no, cause... it wouldn't be a surprise then..."

My face soured waiting for something interesting to happen.

Marin settled his hands on my waist gently moving me towards him as another person to my place.

Fucking Jalil, "Excuse me. There, as you know, the one with the scepter is Tutankhamun, the first. And there, opposite is Nefertiti, his princess. There are exactly one hundred mummies beside them. She died several years before him, and the sun god Ra took her as his goddess."
