Chapter 14 (Internships)

"Everyone's got their costumes right?" Aizawa asked. 

We were now standing at the train station about to go to our internships. 

"Remember, you don't have permission to wear them in public yet, so don't lose them or anything." Aizawa said.

"Gotcha!" Ashido said. 

"Totally! Roger that." I said. 

"Speak properly. It's yes sir, you two." 

"Yes sir." Ashido sighed. 

"Make sure you mind your manners with the other pros during your internships. Now get to it." Aizawa said.

"Yes sir!" The class said. 

I got on the train and headed to my destination to start my internship. When I got there I was surprised at the scenery. It was a shabby building in a dangerous neighborhood. 

'Well, I guess heroes do need to keep their cover. Villains wouldn't expect that a hero agency would be located here of all places.' I thought.

I walked in, but there wasn't anyone around. In fact, there wasn't anything around. It was just a tiny room. 

I sighed. 

'Let me guess. I'm gonna fall through the floor in 3. 2. 1.' 

Sure enough, I fell through the floor and had a long fall. I felt like Humpty Dumpty.

When I finally landed I looked up to see the number 5 pro hero, Mirko. We were now standing in a room full of computers and surveillance cameras. 

"Welcome!" Mirko said, smirking with her hands on her hips. 

"Hey!" I answered and got up from the floor.

"I'm Boriko Takayumi. You call me Yumi for short." I said. 

"I know who you are. But let's get down to business quickly. Do you know why I wanted you to come here?" Mirko asked. 

"I'm guessing because you saw potential in me?" I answered.

"You're a bright one, but you're only half right. As you can see, there's no one else here. Do you know why?"

"Uhhh, no." 

"Well, I like to work alone. But, when I saw you at the sports festival, I saw myself in you. We're the same. So, I'm willing to make an exception for you." 

"Really? So what, are you gonna train me or something?" I said. 

"Righto! I knew you were bright! Get dressed and then training will commence!"

I walked into the big white cubed training room where Mirko was waiting for me. 

'This room is huge!' I thought. 

"Aaaah, nice costume!" Mirko said. 

"Thanks!" I said. 

"So, what's your name?" She asked. 

"My name? It's Boriko Takayumi. You know that." 

"No. What's your hero name?"

"Oh, right. My name is Snow Breeze." I said. 

"Alright then, Snow Breeze. Explain to me how your quirk works." Mirko said. 

"Okay. I have two quirks. Teleportation and Air pressure. First teleportation. It's pretty self explanatory. I can teleport myself and other objects using the atoms in my body.
