Chapter 8 (Obstacle Course)

Everyone pushed and shoved against each other as they struggled to get by the entrance. It was a tight space and hard to get through. Todoroki used his ice to freeze everybody's feet and made his way through.

I used my air pressure with my mouth and broke the ice on my feet. I jumped up and over everybody and used their heads to run across and out of the entrance tunnel. A lot of my other classmates also somehow avoided the attack as well.

"You froze me once, but you won't get me again!" I said. 

"Nice trick, Todoroki." Yoayorozu said. 

"I won't lose to you! Icy Hot!" Kacchan said. 

"Ha! Icy Hot!" I said. 

"I didn't expect so many people to dodge that. Especially people from other classes." Todoroki said.

The purple ball head dude came in and was jumping off the balls he was throwing. 

"You think you're so smart, but I've outsmarted you! Ha! How pathetic! This is my ultimate move. Gra-" the tiny dude was cut off by getting hit by something.

"Target acquired. Terminate them!" the many robots standing in front of us said. 

"It's the robots, from the entrance exam." Izuku said. 

"So this is what the students faced in their exams." Todoroki said.

He froze a piece of the ground with his foot when he took a step forward and crouched down. 

"They obviously went through a lot of trouble, but I thought they'd at least prepare something a bit more challenging."

The robot went to reach for him. 

"Especially since my dear old dad is watching." Todoroki used his right side to freeze the robot's hand and the rest of its body. Then he ran by them all. Everyone was shocked.

"Dude, he froze the robots!" a rando said. 

"Look! Between their legs! We can get through!" another rando said. 

"Careful now. I froze them when they were off balance..." 

The ice began to break and the robots started falling. "On purpose." Todoroki finished. 

I took this opportunity to teleport past the robots.

I spawned in front of Todoroki and was running backwards so I could talk to him. 

"Hey Todo! Thanks for making that opening for me. I thought you said this wasn't a team effort. By the way, you don't mind me calling you Todo, right!?" I taunted with a smirk.

"Actually I do. Don't call me that!" 

"Thanks again for the help, Todo!" I said turning around and running faster.

I soon came across a rocky area with small ropes we're supposed to use to get across. But the rocks were so big, I just teleported my way across. I saw Todoroki and Kacchan catching up with me.

When I got across, I teleported one more time, as far as I could, then kept running. 

'I need to rest my teleportation and give my atoms a chance to grow back. So, I'll have to stop using it for a while.' I thought.

After another long time of running, I came across a land mine. 

'Dang it. My teleportation still isn't fully recovered yet. I'll have to actually try to avoid the mines.' I thought. 

I was just getting started on the minefield and I turned back to see Todoroki close behind me.

'Crap. Gotta hurry up!' I thought.
