Chapter 13 (Code Names)

After 2 days of no school it was finally time for us to come back. On my way to school though, things were weird. I was on the train with Kacchan when some people started talking to us. 

"Hey. Hey you! Didnt you two fight each other in the sports festival?" A girl asked us.

"So what if we did?" Kacchan asked, glaring at her. 

"That was a great fight. It was so passionate. Are you two dating?" 

Me and Kacchan's faces turned red. 

"W-What are you talking about!!??" I yelled. 

"Shut your trap!!" Kacchan yelled. 

Then another man stepped in.

"Don't be ridiculous. No man would treat his girl like that! Of course they're not dating." he said. 

"Are you saying I treat her badly!?" Kacchan yelled. 

"That's right." the man said, nodding his head with his arms crossed.

"No I don't! I'll show you! Watch me!!" 

Kacchan then wrapped his arms around my neck and squeezed his face on mine. I turned red as a hot stove. 

"Awww! Look at them!!!" The girls squealed. 

The man had wide eyes. 

"Huh. I guess they are dating!" 

Then the whole train started squealing at how 'cute' we were.

I had had enough. 

"Listen! We're not dating!!!" I shouted. 

Kacchan still never let go. 

When I looked at him he was smirking at me. It was almost as if I read his mind. 

His eyes said 'This is for back at the USJ when you wouldnt let go of me.'

I groaned and turned my head. After a while, I felt eyes on me. 

"Look, he's staring at her too!" a girl squealed. 

"If they're not dating, they must like each other but haven't said anything yet." another girl said. 

I snapped. I stood up aggressively and walked over to the girls.

"Look, we're not dating and we don't like each other. If you say another word about it, I'm gonna kill you!" I yelled. "Everybody else got that!?" 

Everyone on the train was scared and nodded yes. I walked back over to Kacchan with an upset face. But something was still on my mind. 

Was Kacchan actually staring at me?

We were now in the classroom. Everyone was talking among themselves about their similar encounters on the way to school today. Then the door sung open and everyone quickly got into their seats.

"Morning." Aizawa greeted. 

"Good Morning Mr. Aizawa." The class said. 

"Ribbit. Mr. Aizawa, your badges are gone. That's good news." Tsu said. 

"The old lady went a bit overboard with her treatment. Anyway, we have a big class today on Hero informatics."

The class got really tense. 

"...You need codenames. Time to pick your hero identities." Aizawa said. 

Everyone started cheering.
