You deserve more. And I don't mean that in a pseudo-inspirational, "there's plenty of fish in the sea" kind of way. I mean it. You deserve someone who hits the send button on their phone. Someone who will never make you wonder if you're missed. You deserve someone that doesn't lie to you, someone who doesn't throw words around like they're darts and your heart is the bullseye. Someone that doesn't want to wait three days to call you because they can hardly wait three minutes. You deserve to be listened to, cared for, respected. You deserve someone who would drive for an hour to see you for a minute, because they know it will make you smile. Believe me. Trust me on just this one. You deserve more than the feeling in your stomach when they don't text you back. You deserve someone who does what I never did. you deserve someone that's not me.
