This is inspired off of the astrals wanting to kill Lunar after he killed Eclipse and Gemini is now yelling at him.
I was sitting on the bed listening to Gemini scold Lunar. It hurt to hear him upset but Gemini wasn't necessarily wrong so I stayed quiet. But then I heard them say that the other Astros might want him dead.
I froze. Lunar? Dead? That... That can't happen. I thought.
Gemini left and it sounded like Lunar was about to have a breakdown. I quickly ran to him.
"Lunar?" I said.
"Damnit!" He yelled.
I quickly went to him and hugged him close. "Shh..." I didn't really say anything besides that. Because saying everything will be ok would be a lie. And saying he didn't do anything wrong would be a lie. So I just held him. Held him close and comforted him despite my distress.
After a moment longer I finally spoke. "They won't kill you will they? They can't kill you. I won't let them!"
He hugged me tighter but didn't answer because well, he didn't know the answer. No one really did. So we just held each other into the night.
Sorry that was short but I didn't really know what else to do and I wanted to get a chapter out. If I should make a chapter where Lunar doesn't pass the trial let me know.
