The sun was just beginning to rise over Jeddah, casting a warm golden glow to flow through Blake's curtains. Blake groaned softly as her alarm went off, the persistent beeping dragging her out of a restless sleep. She slapped at the stop button but forced herself to sit up, knowing that today was too important to sleep through.

Rubbing her eyes, she swung her legs out of bed and stretched.

Blake grabbed her phone from the bedside table and checked her messages. There was a reminder from the McLaren PR team about the Media Day schedule and a good morning text from Lando. She smiled faintly at his message. It had a reminder to meet for breakfast in the lobby.

After a quick shower, Blake dressed herself up and avoided the color orange knowing she'd be wearing that for the next three days, then ran a brush through her hair. She glanced at herself in the mirror, taking a deep breath.

She headed down to the hotel lobby, where she found Lando already waiting with a bag of pastries and two cups of coffee. His face lit up when he saw her, and he waved her over enthusiastically.

"Finally, after a hundred years." Lando teased, with a small smirk as he leaned against the wall. "Thought you'd never make it."

Blake rolled her eyes but couldn't help smiling back. "Morning, Lando. You know, not all of us wake up looking this annoyingly up and awake."

Lando chuckled, pushing one of the coffees toward her. "Whatever. Here, you're welcome."  Lando speaks with a sarcastic tone.

Blake took the coffee gratefully and took a sip, savoring the warmth and the caffeine boost. "Thanks. So, what are we doing today? I kinda just scrolled past the emails. I was too sleepy to read them."

Lando leaned back in his chair, glancing at the schedule on his phone. "Uhm, Interviews, photo ops, the usual. But we should be done by late afternoon, hopefully."
