Blake woke up the next day having the feeling of both anxiety, and a boost of energy coursing through her veins. Seeing those comments from the night before still had her brain in a hurdle, she decided to resolve in creating some distance between her and Lando in hopes of forgetting about ate least some of the millions of thoughts running through her mind. She knew she needed to focus on the race being granted a good position on the grid.
As Blake got ready for the day, she avoided checking her phone, not wanting to see anymore comments. She put her phone on do not disturb and decided to log out of her main accounts for today. She knew it would add to her already confused whirlwind of emotions and she didn't want any distractions for the race.
She braided her hair into two French braids. She found it more comfortable to wear French braids under the helmet compared to leaving it as is or in any other hairstyle.
The girl wore some baggy pants and her McLaren shirt, and grabbed her things along with a cap in case she needed it and made her way down to the hotel lobby. There she saw lando wave at her.
She hesitated, but waved back rushing to head outside to her car and avoid any possible interaction with Lando. She got in her sleek black 765LT and made her way to the circuit. Normally she'd go with Lando; however, seeing as she was avoiding him, she decided to take her own car.
Once she got there she saw some of the Formula 1 media crew there again filming her as she approached, likely for posting on the Instagram stories.
Upon walking up to the entrance she reached into her pocket and realized she forgot her paddock pass. "Ah, fuck" she muttered. Rather than explaining the situation and waiting for her team to let her in, she decided to jump over the turnstile.
