Jungkook POV

"Do you like it?" I ask Taehyung as he leisurely roams around his new office, his eyes taking in every corner with a keen interest. After giving him an extensive tour of the entire building—which, might I add, is truly gigantic in scale—I led him to his personalized office space, meticulously designed to reflect Taehyung's unique taste and preferences.

"It's really nice," Taehyung responds with a genuine smile, his eyes reflecting his satisfaction with the setup. "Thank you. Shall I get to work then?"

I chuckle at his eagerness, teasingly remarking, "Are you in that much of a hurry to get rid of me?" I flop down onto the plush sofa nearby, earning a scowl from Taehyung, which only serves to widen my mischievous grin.  Oh, how I love getting on his nerves.

"Mr. Jeon, what should I work on?" Taehyung asks, impatiently.

"You should work those pretty hands of yours—" However, before I could finish my sentence, a sudden knock on the office door interrupts me, causing my fists to clench in mild frustration at the untimely intrusion.

Taehyung, with a sense of urgency, hastily makes his way to the door and swiftly swings it open, revealing Minji standing there. A warm smile graces her lips as she acknowledges Taehyung before gracefully stepping inside the office space.

"You certainly have a beautifully arranged office," she comments with genuine admiration before her gaze shifts to me. Suddenly, her expression changes, surprised by my unexpected presence. "Oh? Mr. Jeon. I didn't see you there."

Subtly dismissing Minji's acknowledgment. "Numerous articles have surfaced, spreading unwarranted rumors about me. It is imperative that we find a strategic solution to address and suppress them effectively," I instruct Taehyung with a firm tone, all while purposely overlooking Minji's presence in the room. "Notify me once you have executed the necessary measures."

"Of course, Mr. Jeon." Taehyung nods and I leave the office, trudging back to mine. Grabbing my computer, I pull up the CCTV footage from the morning. With a glass of deep red wine in hand, I carefully study the screen as Taehyung's morning routine unfolds. The image of him waking up, showering, and preparing for the day plays out before me like a movie. However, my heart skips a beat as I witness an unexpected twist when Ha-yoon unexpectedly appears in the kitchen.

As Taehyung enters the room, a wave of shock washes over him at the sight of Ha-yoon. My grip tightens around the glass, a mix of anger and frustration simmering within me. I watch, seething, as Ha-yoon brazenly approaches Taehyung and clasps his hands. The audacity of his actions fuels the fire burning inside me.

Ha-yoon's presence in Taehyung's life is like a poison that must be eradicated swiftly before it spreads further.

I need to get rid of this idiotic bastard, soon.

Soon.

Taehyung POV

A ding on my phone jolts me from my deep concentration on the laptop screen, prompting me to push the device away with a long, drawn-out stretch that addresses the stiffness in my body. The hours spent reading through various articles about Jungkook weigh heavily on my mind, the outlandish rumors swirling around his name verging on absurdity. I promptly reached out to the relevant agencies, expressing my urgent demand for the removal of these defamatory pieces. However, they haven't replied, yet.

Ha-yoon
I'm outside the building
You finished?

Me
Ha-yoon, I don't think I can come

Ha-yoon
What! Why?
Come on, Taehyung
I was looking forward to enjoying some food with you
And we also need to talk about the wedding

Me
Fine
See ya in 5
