Taehyung POV
He's there again.
Over the past few weeks, Ha-yoon's unsettling presence has become a consistent sight outside the office building, as he silently lingers without making any direct contact with me. His stoic demeanor stands in stark contrast to my own reluctance to confront the situation, resulting in an eerie standoff where we coexist in silence. Despite my apprehensions, I have refrained from approaching him, even as he continues to fixate on the building with an intensity that unnerves me. Jungkook remains oblivious to this unsettling dynamic, and I am apprehensive about shattering his peace of mind by bringing attention to Ha-yoon's unnerving behavior.
Today, a shift in Ha-yoon's routine has caught my attention as he now holds a phone in his hand, engaging in what appears to be text messaging and phone calls. This deviation from his usual demeanor adds a new layer of concern, as I wonder if these communications have any connection to me or if they signal a potential escalation of his already disconcerting behavior. The gravity of the situation weighs heavily on my mind, as I grapple with the internal conflict of whether to disclose Ha-yoon's actions to someone else, knowing that doing so may have repercussions for my family's reputation.
"Doll? What are you looking at?" Jungkook asks from behind, his voice carrying a curious tone that makes me whirl around in surprise to face him.
"Oh nothing," I reply, walking over to where he was sitting at his desk. "What are you doing?"
"Paperwork," Jungkook answers. "But I could do something else too."
Heat crawls up my neck. "Focus on your paperwork, Kookie boy."
"I'd rather focus on you." Before I can react, Jungkook pulls me onto his lap with a swift motion, causing me to emit a surprised yelp that quickly turns into contentment as his lips meet mine in a series of deliberate yet passionate kisses, each one igniting a fiery spark between us that words could never truly convey.
"Mpph—Koo we're at work," I mumble, pulling away.
"And?" Jungkook teases, his lips dancing along my neck with a playful fervor, peppering it with soft kisses that send tingles cascading down my spine. He nibbles gently on my flesh, eliciting a gasp as I involuntarily tilt my head to the side, granting him more access, a silent invitation to continue his amorous assault.
"Horny little prick," I manage to whisper, my voice laced with a mix of amusement and desire, acknowledging his effect on me.
"Your horny little prick," Jungkook murmurs against my skin, his tongue darting out and lapping against my flesh. While his mouth sucks on my neck, his hand works its way up my leg, gradually rubbing my inner-thigh.
A loud, abrupt knock on the door startles us as we freeze in the heat of the moment. "Mr. Jeon?" utters a cautious voice from outside.
Struggling to pull away from Jungkook, I feel his growl of anger reverberating through me, igniting a surge of heat between my thighs that sends a shiver down my spine. "Koo, I have to go," I whisper-shout, the words barely escaping my lips amidst the charged atmosphere.
"Yes, come inside," Jungkook utters, ignoring my words. Fuck this man. My cheeks turn bright red as the door opens. Oh god, this probably looks so wrong. I'm literally straddling Jungkook, right now.
The individual clears their throat. "I— uh wanted to get these papers signed and looked through," the man stammers. I don't even look back to see who it is. He's probably going to tell the whole office about this.
