Chapter Sixty Three

The Dominator released his grip and struck blow after blow on Adam pounding his head into the ground. The Dominator hit Adam with such force the metal on his gauntlets shattered. Then the Dominator strode away and grabbed an entire tower and lifted it clear of its foundations.

He stomped back and threw the entire building on top of Adam. The building crashed down and crumpled up due to its weight, and collapsed on the place were Adam lay.

"Let that be your tomb Brodie!" growled the Dominator.

The Dominator took a few steps away from the demolished building and spread out his arms in triumph. Some of the students cheered and applauded. Most booed and angrily shouted at the Dominator.

"He killed Adam!" screamed Brigitte.

Clifford Watt, the daughter of Lady Whitesnake and Caliban stepped in front of Brigitte. Malcolm stepped beside her and the Bug stepped to the other side of her. George hovered overhead.

"You can kill them," said the Dominator. "Those maggots aren't worth my time. Kill them all,"

Pieces of armour were falling from the figure. The Dominator skulked in the darkest part of the shadow of the rubble entombing Adam. His helmet had re appeared and those parts of his body lacking armour were already re-growing the armour. Within seconds the armour had repaired itself and the Dominator was once more the armoured demon with red glowing eyes.

"This is it people," said Brigitte. "Battle Royal."

Clifford Watt's visor had been repaired, in the same way the Dominator's armour repaired itself. The visor showed four tombstones with Brigitte, George, Malcolm and the Bug's name on them.

Brigitte could not do much. She was after all a twelve year old girl who had given all her weapons away to Malcolm and Adam. However she did still have her catapult and put into it whatever was in her pockets, a heart shaped box given to her by her mother, a worry stone, some marbles, a tiny book with photographs of wild flowers native to her world.

George threw down sheets of cartoon fire between the combatants hoping to blind the three evil students. Malcolm fired his remaining arrows. Whitesnake batted them away with her staff. Caliban leapt on the Bug and the two rolled on the ground. Clifford snatched the catapult away from Brigitte. He threw it aside.

"A little help!" cried Brigitte.

Some of the students were massing forward to help but were stopped by the students who were now supporting the Dominator. Malcolm grabbed Clifford and pulled him away from Brigitte.

"Pick on someone your own size!" he cried.

There was an earthquake, the ground shook. It was not due to the volcano. The shattered building entombing Adam trembled. Masonry and pieces of steel fell away and then the entire building erupted and a figure strode out.
