Walang-ekspresyon kong tinitigan ang lalaki na nasa harapan ko ngayon habang sinusuri kung may mga galos ba ako. Pinagmasdan ko ang kaniyang kabuoan.

He has this striking appearance; chiseled features with a strong jawline and high cheekbones. His skin is smooth and slightly bronzed, providing a warm contrast to his deep blue eyes, which are intense and captivating. His hair is dark, thick, and wavy, falling casually around his face. He has broad shoulders and a muscular chest, accentuated by the fitted suit he wears. Sa madaling salita, yummy siya.

Kung hindi ko lang alam ang ginawa niya kay Kinara dahil sa obsesyon niya dito ay baka naging bet ko pa siya.

Napatigil ako sa pag-iisip nang marahan niyang hinawakan ang mukha ko at sinuri.

"They will pay for what they have done to you, my princess. I will make sure of it," determinadong sabi niya sa akin na muntik ko ng ikina-irap.

Sinong pagbabayarin mo aber Kairo? Yung sarili mo?

"I want to be alone," malamig na wika ko sa mga tao sa silid.

"B-but milady, we still need to check a few things to make sure you are okay," ani ng doktor.

"That's right, princess. Let the doctor check you," kunwaring nag-aalalang wika ng pekeng kuya ko kuno.

"Everybody out!" Sigaw ko sa kanila kaya binalingan nila si Kairo na napabuntong-hininga na lang.

"We'll let you be for now, but Dr. Matteo will be back later to check on you, okay?" sabi ni Kairo saka ako hinalikan sa noo na halos ikinangiwi ko.

Pagkalipas ng ilang minuto ay nag-iisa nalang ako sa silid kaya agad akong tumayo saka lumakad-lakad pabalik at paroon sa loob ng kwarto para mag-isip.

I took a deep breath and started racking my brain about the information that I have of this freaking situation that I am in.

I died. Yep. I died. I am 100% sure that I died that night. Sinong matinong tao ang makaka-survive pag nasagasaan ng truck, unless siguro kung may super powers ako 'di ba?

Anyway back to the next thing... Yung pusang niligtas ko noong gabing 'yon ay may kinalaman kung bakit ako nandito sa loob ng nobelang ito ngayon. Sigurado ako na may koneksyon siya kung bakit ako napadpad dito, idagdag mo pa na hindi ko makalimutan kung paano niya ako kinindatan.

"Veil of Vulnerability", kung tama ang pagkaka-alala ko sa title ng nobela kung nasaan ako ngayon, iyan ang pamagat.

The novel revolves around Kinara Psamathe de Fidellis (which happens to be me as of the moment) and these dangerous men around her life. I kind of forgot kung ilang lalake ba yun basta maraming involve na mga lalaki na galing sa mga makapangyarihang mafia group sa mundo ng Gliese.

To simply put it, Kinara finds solace in the arms of a powerful mafia heir named Maverick as she unravels the secrets about her birth and origin. And while she discovers something about herself, this will jeopardize her safety, dragging the male lead into her series of unfortunate events.

Ang pinproblema ko lamang ngayon ay hindi ko alam kung paano nagwakas ang nobela dahil hindi ko naman ito tinapos na basahin dahil nga namatay ako.

But I do know tiny bits of information about some of the characters, the twist and turns that will happen up until the part where Kinara and Maverick were cornered.

Kaya nga alam ko agad na si Kairo ang salarin sa likod ng aksidente dahil binunyag iyon ilang chapters pa bago ako umabot sa huling chapter na binasa ko.

Napabuntong-hininga ako. Seems like I really am trapped inside this lame novel, and there's nothing I can do in this situation but to adapt.

Walang patutunguhan kung patuloy lang akong magmumukmok rito. My survival instincts are kicking in, and I need to survive this, somehow.

Hindi ko alam kung may magbabago ba sa estorya kung magbabago ang katangian ni Kinara.

They say you'll never know unless you try it kaya hindi naman masamang subukang baguhin ang takbo ng estoryang ito.

Nandito na rin naman ako't lahat lahat kaya bakit hindi ko na lang baguhin ang takbo ng nobelang ito at nang mabawasan naman ang kabaduyan.

And to implement the change that I am planning, I need money, resources, and manpower, and I just happen to know where to find them.

Agad akong nagtungo sa walk-in-closet ni Kinara para maghalungkat ng pwedeng isuot sa gagawin kong pagtakas mamaya.

Napangiwi ako nang makita na halos lahat ng nandito sa closet nya ay mga dress na kakulay ng rainbow at pawang kumikinang pa.

Patuloy lang ako sa paghahalungkat, at sa awa naman ng maykapal ay may nakita akong damit na sa tingin ko ay babagay naman sa personality ko. Agad ko itong dinampot saka nagbihis.

Pagkatapos kong magbihis ay humarap ako sa salamin saka tiningnan ang aking itsura.

What a beauty, Kinara Psamathe. Hindi naman talaga maipagkakaila na maganda talaga si Kinara.

She has a delicate, almost ethereal beauty with fine, well-defined features. She has these almond-shaped eyes with very dark orbs. She has this long, flowing hair that cascades down her back in waves. Kinara's skin is smooth and fair, with a porcelain-like quality.

I stood confidently while watching Kinara— err myself in the mirror, feeling the edgy elegance of my outfit. Good thing that I found this sleeveless black crop top in her closet. Eto lang yata ang tanging itim na top na meron ang babaeng to.

I also found this high-waisted black pants which perfectly hugged my hips.

To complete the look, I wore a long black gloves that reached past my elbows and paired it with a chunky high-heeled boots na dinampot ko lang din sa kasulok-sulokan ng closet ni Kinara.

Now, I feel like myself again. Wearing these kind of clothes brings me back to my past self when I was still busy completing missions and killing people that are harmful for the society.

Well, enough of my past self, let's now take what's rightfully mine from the beginning.

I stretched my neck before I skillfully jumped from the balcony of Kinara's room.

Pinagpag ko ang kamay ko matapos matagumpay na tumalon mula sa ikalimang palapag ng mansyon ng mga de Fedillis saka napangisi.

Wala pa ring kupas, Aurora. You still have your skills even when you're on a different body.

Sorry, Kinara, but I think your destiny will change starting today.
