Aurora's POV

With the government in my grasp, my next move will be to secure my financial dominance.

Rasmon's economy had been in freefall, a land of frozen beauty crumbling under the weight of corruption and mismanagement.

Bago pa man ako dumating, ilang malalaking kumpanya ang nasa bingit ng pagbagsak—mga minahang pinabayaan, mga factory na halos hindi na gumagana, at mga sentrong pangkalakalan na halos naging pugad na ng mga multo. 

I will be purchasing these dying corporations at their lowest value, salvaging them before they completely collapse. I will restructure them from the ground up, revitalizing trade routes, implementing advanced mining techniques, and upgrading outdated systems. 

Sa loob lamang ng ilang linggo, ang dating pinaniniwalaang bumagsak na ekonomiya ay magsisimulang magpakita ng senyales ng isang muling sumisibol na imperyo.

Simula pa lang ito ng mga plano ko at hindi iyon dito magtatapos. My grand scheme is far from being finished.

I won't just stop at reviving Rasmon's industries. I will be expanding my reach, ensuring that Rasmon wouldn't just survive but thrive. Tech industries, shipping routes, high-frequency trading networks, underground economies...  bibilhin ko silang lahat gamit ang perang iniwan ng mga magulang ni Kinara. 

Money was my weapon, and I will be wielding it mercilessly.

To ensure my anonymity, I changed my appearance. The ghost of Kinara de Fidellis no longer existed. I dyed my hair a fiery shade of red, applied heavy makeup to obscure my features, and adopted a new, polished persona. The world would not recognize the woman rebuilding an empire. I had shed my past like a snake sheds its skin.

One of the first companies I acquired was Volkov Mining & Co., one of Rasmon's largest mining operations that had fallen into bankruptcy due to mismanagement and outdated methods.

Purong luma na ang kanilang kagamitan, also, their extraction rates were laughable. The previous owners had been bleeding money, unable to modernize their operation kaya wala silang ka-alam alam na may nakatagong yaman sa ilalim lang ng kanilang inaapakan.

I arranged a meeting with Ivan Volkov, the former owner, in a cold, dimly lit office.

"Hindi mo ako basta-bastang mabibili," nakangising wika ng matanda na may bahid ng galit na nakadirekta sa akin.  His grip on the glass of whiskey on his hand tightened, as if he wants to break it due to his anger towards me.

"This company has been in my family for generations."

I leaned back in my chair, fingers drumming against the polished mahogany table. 

"Generations of failure," I rebutted.

Nagdilim ang kanyang ekspresyon. "Mag-ingat ka sa mga salitang binibitawan mo, binibini."

I slid a folder across the table, filled with financial records, tax fraud evidence, and outstanding debts. "Your company is finished. The banks are weeks away from seizing what little you have left."

His hand trembled as he flipped through the pages. He knew he had lost.

"I can wipe these debts," I continued smoothly, "or I can let the banks devour you."
