Aurora's POV

Spuador was crumbling, and I would be a fool not to take advantage of it.

Sitting in my study, I swirled the tea in my cup, watching the ripples as if they mirrored the chaos unfolding in Spuador.

The fallout of the attacks had left its economy in shambles, its most powerful figures desperate to regain control. This is the perfect moment to strike.

One's storm is another's wind to sail.

"We'll start acquiring businesses," deklara ko kay Philip habang nakaharap ako sa fireplace. The flames cast shifting shadows across the study, mirroring my thoughts.

"Spuador's power structure is weak. If we move now, we can take what we need at hindi nila iyon kaagad mapapansin. They're pretty occupied right now dahil bawat isa ay ginagawa ang lahat para mapanatili ang kapangyarihan nila sa bansa."

Philip stood beside the large desk, his eyes sharp with understanding. "Shall I arrange a trip to Spuador?" He asked kaya humarap ako sa kanya.

I shook my head. "No, it's not time yet. You handle the transactions. I want our influence there to grow quietly, subtly."

Ngumisi naman si Philip. "Understood."

There's time for that, and I hope when that time comes, they are ready to pay for what they have done.

But my ambitions didn't stop at financial takeovers. The fake de Fidellis had roamed free for too long. It was time to start unraveling their hold, piece by piece.

"And Philip," dagdag ko gamit ang malamig ngunit mariin na boses, "target the fake de Fidellis. Make them suffer."

His smile widened. "With pleasure."

Philip executed the plan flawlessly. Under the guise of various shell companies, we began acquiring Spuador's most vulnerable businesses and I made sure to oversee the deals myself through video calls.

He sat in his dimly lit office, sweat beading on his forehead as he stared at the laptop screen where my masked face appeared.

"Mr. Callaghan," malumanay kong simula, ngunit may bigat ang aking tinig, sapat upang mapatuwid ang kanyang upo.

"Your hotels are failing, and if you don't accept my offer now, the banks will swallow you whole. I'm offering you a way out—isang pagkakataong umalis nang may dignidad, may mas maraming salapi kaysa makukuha mo mula sa liquidation."

"And who exactly am I selling to?"

I allowed a small smirk. "A group of investors who see potential where others see ruin. The deal is clean. All you have to do is sign."

The pen trembled in the man's grip before he finally scrawled his signature. One down.

This media company is a critical piece in reshaping the public perception of Rasmon.
