Chicago bound

After the Sergios escapade, everyone decided not to try and go back out to eat. Dad stayed late at work almost every night for the whole week. Tia did a lot of shopping and cleaning.was grounded so she spent most of her time in her room, listening to music texting Jasmine and Arianna she was losing her shit still didn't know how to tell all her people that she was leaving for the summer and if she was even going to be coming back well the day was here yeah I woke up early to get some cooking in and to make sure all of the bags were in the car and ready to go well this is the last bag, dear Tatiana OK go say your goodbyes i'll wait for you in the car. Don't take too long Tati we don't wanna miss our flight. I won't I'm just not good with goodbyes. You know I understand but the flight is only going to be three hours. You'll be able to call and let Dad know when you arrive. Yeah, I guess she started thinking about everyone , but her father was only gonna be two months just her head. She rolled down her window and connected her Bluetooth from her phone. She scrolled down her playlist. She finally came across sober by Jelly Roll SC drove down the freeway Tati tried so hard to fight back to her, but they started to run down her cheeks , she singing the lyrics. Tia glanced over at Tatiana. She couldn't tell her even though she would probably feel a lot better knowing that she's not alone, but it was not at all the right time. She started wondering if there will ever be a right time she still hasn't even told Manuel only Jasmine knows and let's just say it like this she's not the best at keeping these type of secrets we pulled up to the airport and there it was The call. I was dreading my phone laid up in the car. All I could do is freeze if I didn't answer, I'd hear about it when I did, but if I did answer, I'd have to tell him I was leaving for the summer and not by choice. Still upset that Dad and Thea decided for me. I mean, I'd rather stay back once Chicago for me I don't do well with new places . I guess here goes to blow up. My hands started to get sweaty, and my heart started racing butterflies to the point of being nauseated, but was that just because of him calling or for the reason why I'm dreading at telling him what the test read I looked down again and it was him again texting why are you dodging my calls? What's going on Reyna? Did you take the test yet? Am I going to be a father or what not knowing what to do I just decided to text him I can't text right now. I'm busy with family and you can't text me. What's with the test Tatiana , my hand started to get super sweaty. How do I even tell him well for the rest of the day I decided to ignore his text messages and phone calls. We boarded our plane and waited for it to takeoff. Perfect timing to shut off my phone, Tia did one last text to dad to let him know that we made it to the airport and that we were boarding our  Flight already. It wasn't long and we were in the air. The flight was so fast only really did take three hours. It wasn't long and we landed in Chicago. We got to baggage claim grabbed our bags and to the extended to inside the put the bags in the truck we were off. It was a lot different than Callie the whole vibe and energy, but I'm going to make it work if I wanna go back home, we started driving. There was no palm trees. No beaches. Chicago was straight hood straight grinding crime rate crazy LA was more black territorial , more fun and more of a good time we pulled up to the house. It was beautiful. She had a big white front porch with a swing. She had flowers planted in the front lawn. I helped carry the bags into the house. She showed me my room it was perfect for a school girl and that let's just say was not for me . It was about 6 o'clock and called me down for supper. I was hungry but not hungry. I didn't wanna be here. I'd rather be back home by Academy and Yareli. This place was so much different then back home. Worse part was I didn't know anyone was at the table eating posole Blanco. I decided that I should eat as we said their Tia told me that tomorrow she was going to be it was going to be a busy day. She wanted to do a little shopping and wanted me to check into this music festival that was going to be coming up over the weekend. She knows how much I love music. She also had mentioned something about a grill out at one of her friend , Mariana and Enrique she explained that Ramito was coming home from overseas and that he was a marine of course couldn't even think about what was happening with and what I was going to tell him I still haven't heard from Benji all day so maybe the girl girls were right about him all along. What's a girl to do having feelings for two people is never a good thing. Benji is always Benji. Maybe he was just using me to get back at his ex, but then there's Manuel. There's nothing to say about that situation, but it was definitely more than a friendship I've been feeling after sitting on the front porch. Tati went back inside into her room. She turned down some music and started unpacking, and since they were going to this grill out with people, she didn't know she had to dress to impress, even though she had options back home she got everything put up and picked up and picked out an outfit and her sandals she had no idea what to do with her hair so she  Decided to make a FaceTime call to Arianna girl I need a new hairstyle idea that will go with this outfit as she showed her. OK OK do you want me to come over? No, I'm not in Cali Orianna I'm staying with my aunt for this summer but we're going to a cookout tomorrow or something so I want to look decent but not to be overdressed. My aunt showed up. II didn't have time to say goodbye to anyone not even Manuel things got complicated after the night at Sergios. Did you at least take the test yet?
