In a world where magic was real but hidden, a young girl named Eira stumbled upon a mysterious ancient tome hidden deep within the library's dusty shelves. As she opened the book, she felt a strange energy coursing through her veins and then a huge blast echoed around her and she felt herself scumbling to the darkness.
After some time, she woke up and looked around her and found herself in a vast, dimly lit chamber filled with rows of ancient stone pedestals, each holding a glowing crystal orb. The air was thick with an otherworldly energy, and Eira could feel the magic of the ancient tome still coursing through her veins. " How did I end up here?" She mused.
Suddenly, a low ominous voice echoed through the chamber, speaking in a language she couldn't understand. But then, a figure emerged from the shadows and she was shocked because the figure was her long lost brother. She could not believe her eyes and ran up to hug him but as she embraced her brother, she felt a strange sensation wash over her. His body felt cold and rigid, and his eyes seemed to bore into her soul with an unsettling intensity.
Suddenly, his voice whispered in her ear, "Eira, I've been waiting for you. But I'm not the brother you remember. I've been consumed by a dark power, and now I'm bound to serve it".
Eira's eyes widened in horror as her brother's eyes seemed to darken before her eyes. She tried to step back, but her feet felt heavy, as if rotted to the soot. "What.... what do you mean?" She stammered, trying to keep her voice steady.
