Her father's voice came on the line, firm and resolute. "We did what we thought was best, Eira. But now that Arin has contacted you, we need to take action. We'll meet you at the Elemental Temple after school. We'll figure out our next move together "

Eira nodded, even though they couldn't see her. "Got it, I'll be there".

With that, she hung up the phone and took a deep breath. She knew that her parents had secrets, but this was a big one. And she was about to uncover even more.

Eira found Mike in the school courtyard, chatting with his friends. She approached him, her eyes scanning the area to make sure no one was listening in.

"Mike, can I talk to you for a minute?" she asked, her voice low and serious.

Mike nodded, excusing himself from his friends. "What's up, Eira? You look like you have seen a ghost".

Eira took a deep breath. "It's Arin. He's back, and he's working with the Shadow Realm. He wants me to join them".

Mike's eyes widened in shock. "Whoa, that's heavy. What did your parents say?"

Eira hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. "They knew about Arin's involvement with the dark forces. They have been keeping it from me all this time".

Mike's expression turned from shock to anger. "That's not cool. They should have told you the truth".

Eira nodded, feeling a mix of emotions. "I know, but they're trying to protect me. And now they want to meet me at the Elemental Temple after school to figure out what to do next".

Mike's eyes locked onto hers. "I'm coming with you, Eira. We'll face this together".

After school, Eira and Mike headed towards the Elemental Temple, their minds buzzing with anticipation. As they turned a corner, they saw Lyrien waiting for them, his eyes gleaming with a knowing intensity.

"Lyrien! What are you doing here?" Eira asked, surprised.

"I'm coming with you, of course". Lyrien replied, falling into step beside them. "I have my ways of knowing things, Eira. I knew you'd be heading to the Elemental Temple today".

Mike raised an eyebrow. "Your ways, huh? You mean like, magic?"

Lyrien smiled enigmatically. "Let's just say I have my own sources of information. And I'm not about to let you face whatever danger lie ahead without my help".

Eira exchanged a skeptical glance with Mike, but Lyrien's determination was hard to deny. "Okay, fine", she said. "But how do we know we can trust you?"

Lyrien's smile grew wider. "You don't. But I'm willing to take that risk. Are you?"

With that, the three of them continued towards the Elemental Temple, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

As they approached the Elemental Temple, Eira pulled out her phone and dialed her patents' number. They answered on the first ring.

"Mom, Dad, I'm here," Eira said, her eyes scanning the temple's entrance.

"Good, sweetie", her mother replied. We're inside, come on in".

"Okay. See you soon". She hung up the phone and gestured to the temple entrance. "They're waiting for us inside".

Lyrien led the way, his eyes scanning the surroundings with a practiced air. Mike followed close behind, his eyes fixed on Eira with a reassuring smile.

As they entered the temple, Eira felt a strange energy wash over her. The air was thick with an otherworldly power, and she could feel the Elemental forces stirring within her.
