"The Elemental Temple?" Eira asked. "The Elemental Temple is a sacred place where the ancient elemental guardians once wielded their powers", her father explained. "It's hidden deep within the heart of the forest and only those with the purest of intentions can find it".
Eira's eyes widened as she remembered Lyrien's words. "I think I have already met someone who knows about the temple", she said. "His name is Lyrien, and he's been trying to help me understand my powers".
Her parents exchanged a knowing glance, and her mother spoke up. "Lyrien is a powerful ally, Eira
He's been watching over you from afar, waiting for the right moment to reveal himself.
Eira's mind raced with questions. "What do you mean? How does he know about me?" Her father's expression turned serious. "Lyrien is an Elemental spirit, Eira. One who has been tasked with guiding you on your journey".
Eira's eyes widened in awe. "An Elemental spirit, like the woman in my dreams?" Her mother nodded. "Yes dear. Lyrien is a powerful being, and with his help we can unlock the secrets of the Elemental Temple and help you master your powers".
As the night wore on, Eira's parents insisted she get some rest. "Tomorrow's a school day, and you need to be well rested", her mother said, ushering her towards her bedroom.
Eira nodded, still reeling from the revelation. She changed into comfortable clothes and slid into bed, her mind racing with thoughts of elemental powers, Lyrien, the mysterious woman and Mike.
The next morning, Mike arrived bright and early to pick her up for school. Eira was grateful for the distraction, and they chatted about everything except her newfound abilities.
As they walked through the school gate, Eira felt a shiver run down her spine. She then remembered her brother's words and she knew he was nearby, watching her. She sensed his presence, a dark and foreboding energy that made her skin crawl.
Suddenly, she saw him leaning against a tree, his eyes fixed intently on her. Eira's mind raced ad she felt a vision coming on. "Mike, I will catch up with you later, okay?? She said quickly, already knowing what was about to happen.
