Mike nodded and headed off towards his friends. Eira approached her brother, Arin, her senses on high alert. "Arin", she said, her voice firm. "What do you want?"
Arin sneered, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "Just checking in on my dear sister, Eira. And warning you..... the Shadow Realm is growing impatient. You need to embrace our side, or suffer the consequences".
Eira's vision began to blur, and she felt herself being pulled into a dark mystical realm. In the vision, Eira saw a dark, desolate landscape, with twisted trees and burning skies. A figure emerged from the shadows, it's presence radiating an aura of power and menace.
"The Shadow king ", Arin whispered in her ear. "He awaits your decision, Eira. Will you join us or will you perish?" Eira's heart raced as the vision faded, leaving her gasping for breath. Arin's eyes gleamed with excitement, as if he savoured her fear.
"You can't hide from your destiny, Eira", he sneered. "The Shadow Realm will claim you, one way or another". With that, he vanished into thin air, leaving Eira shaken and determined. She knew she had to master her powers, and fast to resist the Shadow Realm's dark allure.
Eira quickly pulled out her phone and dialed her mom's number, her hands shaking with urgency. Her mom answered on the first ring. "Mom, is dad there with you?" she asked. "Yes, sweetheart, what is wrong?" Her mom replied."Mom, dad, it's Arin..he's back".
Eira said, her voice low and serious. "And he's working with the Shadow Realm. He wants me to join them". There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment Eira thought she had lost the connection. But then her mother spoke up, her voice laced with a mix of fear and resignation. "Eira, we know about Arin's involvement with the dark forces. That's why we didn't search for him when he went missing". Eira's eyes widened in shock. "You knew? And you didn't tell me?? She shouted.
