So after school, Eira and Mike decided to meet up in Mike's house to discuss the way forward. When Mike asked if she wanted to go home first to get anything, she replied and said, "no I don't Mike. I don't really feel like going home now. Let's just go to your house". Mike nodded his head in understanding. "Shouldn't you at least call your mom to let her know you will be at my place?" He asked. Eira only smiled and said she will leave a message for her mom.
So they got into Mike's car and drove to his house. On reaching there, Eira could feel a presence. She felt like someone was watching her and started looking around wildly. "Yo, are you okay? I have been calling your name for quite sometime now".
"I don't know Mike, but I feel like someone's watching us". Mike's expression turned serious, and he gazed around the surroundings, his eyes scanning the neighborhood. "I don't see anyone, but let's get inside, just in case". He quickly ushered her into the house, locking the door behind them.
As they entered the living room, Eira's sense of unease only grew stronger. She felt like an invisible presence was lurking, watching her every move. Mike noticed her distress and tried to reassure her. "Hey, it's okay, Eira. You are safe here. I promise".
But Eira's instincts were screaming otherwise. She began to pace around the room, her eyes darting towards every nook and corner. Suddenly she stopped in her tracks, her gaze fixed on a strange symbol etched into the wall.
"Mike, what's this?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Mike followed her gaze, and his expression turned pale. "I.... I don't know, Eira. I've never seen that before. It looks like some sort of..... magical symbol?"
Eira's heart raced as she reached out to touch the symbol. As soon as her skin made contact with it, the room began to spin, and she felt herself being pulled into a dark, mystical realm.
