Kara's pov
It has been a week since Hope was born. Every day, we keep trying to find ways to prevent it. We tried searching if the prophecy was also true and it was. Every day, I feel scared. I've never felt this way before.
We were currently staying at our mansion in star city. Im just sitting and watching Hope. Wishing this never happened and wishing we could just stay like this.
Oliver enters with Thea and I greet them. "Any luck?" will I watch Hope, Oliver tries to find ways to prevent the prophecy. " No" thea says. It breaks my heart knowing my daughter would die one day.
Oliver's pov
The next day, we decided that we should take some time off so we went to National City. We were in the tower, which is in the form of the ship flying in the air, talking with Kara's team.
Suddenly, something hits us. Kara was trying to walk to Hope's room but it was too hard. Once the shaking stops, Kara and I run to Hope's room but outside her door, a white light appears and once we enter, she was gone. Hope was gone.
Kara's pov
No. Hope. She's gone. This isn't happening! I feel like I can't breathe. I feel my legs weaken and Oliver catches me. I knew I should've stayed in here with her. I can't breathe.
I then hear Oliver saying "Hey, Kara. Its okay. Im here. Look at me, angel. Breathe. Follow my breathing." I follow him and the next thing I know, Im crying. "W-we have to find her! I can't-I can't lose her! I won't!" I then see Alex in the room. "We will okay? We will! Im sorry. I promised I would keep you both safe. We will find her, angel. We will!" he says while hugging me. I then realize he was also crying.
