He's back

Hope's pov
'You have to beat him. Stop him. End him. Save everyone.' I keep repeating to myself. I need to end him. I can't let it get any worse.

I train everyday. I need to get stronger to beat him.

"Hope. You gotta rest. You're tiring yourself." dad says as I lean on the wall catching my breath from training too hard. "I can't. I have to beat him." I say breathlessly. "You don't have to beat him alone. Your mom and I are here. Your team is here." dad says as he leads me to sit on a chair. "C'mon let's eat breakfast. Then maybe you can visit your family. You haven't seen them in nearly a month already. You need a break." dad says.

I follow dad's advice and head back to Earth 13 to visit my family. Maybe spend time with George also.

"Kara told me you're training again." mom says as she enters my room with dad. "Yeah. I need to prepare myself for when the time comes." I say as I put my phone down and lay down on my bed. Mom lays down beside me and dad sits beside her. Holding hands. "Don't say that okay? We still have a lot of time. Even when the time does come; know that we are here, Hope." dad says looking at me with warmth in his ocean blue eyes. I smile at him then. "You should rest. George's family is coming to visit tomorrow, remember?" mom says and I nod at her. Even if i'm an adult, they still tuck me in.

The royal family stayed with us for the night since it was already late. George slept in my room beside me.

The next day, George and his family get ready to leave. We first eat breakfast together. Mom prepared some bacon and egg with pancakes and mashed potatoes. "You make amazing food, Taylor." King William says to my mom. "Thank you, Your Majesty." mom says as she smiles. I look at George and we make eye contact which makes us giggle. "I swear the both of you are inseparable." Mia says "I know right! Do you know every night I could hear George from the walls talking on his phone ALL NIGHT. Like do you ever sleep?" Charlotte says and everyone laughs. George rolls his eyes. "Its not every night." he says. "Say whatever you want to say, brother. I sleep in the next room." Louis says and George just stares at him guilty. We all just laugh at him.

Out of the sudden, the ground shakes. "Everyone get down!" Will shouts. They all get under the table. "HOPE GET DOWN!" dad shouts at me. The ground continues to shake strongly nearly making me lose my balance. "I'm fine!" I say as I try stopping jugs and vases from dropping. "Stay there and cover your heads!" I say. The ground then stops shaking. They step out of under the table. I help them get up. "Are you guys o-" before I could continue, a loud sound erupts. They drop to their knees covering their ears in pain. I cover my ears also. I get closer to them and try covering them with my body to help muffle the sound a little. Mia shouts in pain. Then, it stopped.

I head out to see what was happening.

No. He's back. He's back. On. Earth 13. He'll destroy us.

Chaos then erupt as we hear sirens in the streets. "Oh God." mom says as she's stands beside me. I push her back in and stop the others from going outside. "Get back in! Now!" I say as I close the door and lock it. I the close the drapes so we won't be seen. Mia opens the television and the news appears.

"Breaking News! Space ship appears and has currently caused chaos around America. It appears that electricity is going down one by one in ci-" the news then gets cut off. I pace around the room. "He's here. I-I need to get the team." I say as I continue walking around the room looking for my extrapolator. "Hope. Calm down. We'll help you look for it." mom says. "I can't calm down. He's back and he's here on Earth 13 to destroy it. I can't let that happen." I say then mom steps back.

I then find my extrapolator in my bag. "I'll be back in a few minutes." I say as I take my bow and arrow. I put my quiver and sword at my back and get ready to leave. "Please. Stay here and lock all doors. Mia, do you have the weapon I gave you years ago?" I ask Mia and she nods. She then takes it from the table and wears it. She looks at me with worry in her eyes. "It's going to be alright. I'll make sure of it." I say.

George's pov

Hope walks towards me. "Please stay safe." she says as she hold my hands. I then cup her face. Even if she shows no fear, I can see it in her sea green eyes. She's scared. "Please. Promise me you'll be safe." I say quietly. She then presses her lips on mine. "I love you." she says as she pulls away. "I love you too." I say.

As she enters the breach, her hands slowly slip from mine as she disappears. I fight my tears from falling. But I fail. "She'll be back." Charlotte says as she hugs me.
