The World Knows

Hope's pov

"What are we going to do, Oliver?" asks Uncle Barry. Dad (oliver) crosses his arms. "We have to broadcast ourselves to the whole world and ask them to just stay in their homes and leave the fight to us. They won't be able to help either way." dad (o) says. "But if we do that, the world will know who Hope is." Alex says then she looks at me. I didn't think of that. "No. You guys can tell the world who you are but you can't let Hope. She'll be in danger here then." George says as he stands up. His dad then holds his shoulders. "Son, let them decide what they want to do." His dad says. "No. George is right. We can't do that. Our daughter lives here. We can't risk exposing her identity." mom(kara). Everyone then looks at me. "I'll do it." I manage to say. In that moment, I realize my life from now on won't ever be the same.

"We've connected to this Earth's satellite. We're going live in one minute." Uncle Brainy says. I take a deep breath. "You sure you want to do this?" mom(k) asks. "Yeah. I need to do this. It's me whose going to end Darkseid so it should be me who would tell my world." I say. I take another deep breath and close my eyes. "We're going live in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1" then I open my eyes.

George's pov

They are at the Waverider getting ready for broadcast. We open the television and wait for Hope to pop up.

"I am Hope Queen. You may know me better as Hope Alwyn. Daughter of Taylor Swift-Alwyn and Joe Alwyn. A few years ago I found out that multiple Earths exist and I am from a different Earth. I was brought here for safety. During those past years, I learned about a prophecy. A prophecy were I will end the great evil. And that great evil has arrived. Please. We request everyone, government, police and by that i mean everyone to stay in your homes and leave this battle to us. We cannot risk anyone getting hurt and that's all we ask from you. Stay in your homes, be with your family, lock your doors, and pray. We promise we will do everything we can to end this. Stay safe." Hope says then the television turns off.

Hope's pov

We end the broadcast and now we plan on how to end him. I know deep down that only way to end his is with me dying. Everyone is at the Waverider to try and help. "We can try to create a breach large enough to bring him to our world. Our world has technologies strong enough to help us. Technologies this world does not have." Grandpa J'onn says. "Then we could try and destroy him there." Aunt Alex. "How though? I mean like with Mar Novu said, he is the great evil. He won't be destroyed that easily." Mia says. "We can try using the Spear of Destiny like last time?" Aunt Nia says. "No. That won't work. Steppenwolf wasn't as strong as Darkseid and the Spear of Destiny itself wasn't enough." Aunt Sara says. "The only person who can help us is Mar Novu." mom(k) says. "you're right" I say. "I need to find him." I say as I walk away from there. I hear voices calling for me. But I don't turn back.

I head to my room and when I do, I'm at the platform where I met Mar Novu. I look around and once I see him, I walk towards him. "Novu. He's back." I say. Novu then turns to look at me "I've warned you, Hope." he says "Please. You need to help us." I plead to him. "I can't help you. I've done my part by warning you and letting you prepare. You, however, know your part. If you want to end him, you know what you have to do. I'm sorry." he says. I then purse my lips and nod. I look up at space and try fighting back the tears from falling. I then get teleported to my room.
